My self-summary
Hey there, I'm a massage therapist and amateur bodybuilder living in the middle of sin city Las Vegas! I'm a very open-minded and flexible individual who is always on the lookout for a new adventure and a good friend to share it with. I also practice a highly Epicurean lifestyle.

I usually prefer to spend my time in the company of other muscled athletes and/or conversational intellectuals. However, let it be said that there is no reason any of those personas can't be a huge geek. With this diverse world we live in, we have the opportunity to incorporate whatever traits of interest into our own being and should never feel ashamed for doing so, provided that it doesn't prevent others from doing the same.
What I’m doing with my life
After climbing the corporate ladder in the HMO industry for several years in the upper Midwest, I decided it was time for a change to an environment that wasn't frozen 9 months out of the year and surrounded by fat-assed, middle-aged soccer moms. Now I'm pursuing massage therapy for my profession, a field in which I feel I can truly heal the sick and make a lasting, positive medical impact on my clients--much better than determining yay/nay on a person's medical insurance coverage.

Bodybuilding has also been an avid interest of mine for some time now, and Vegas is a perfect place to network and train. Being an open, masculine gay man in this city also has other perks. Only wish that there were more places here for mountain biking and hiking as there were from my last place of residence.
I’m really good at
I excel in physical pursuits like massage therapy, bodybuilding, personal training, hiking, biking and swimming. Intellectually, I read extensively on topics such as philosophy, humanism, religion (as a researcher and not a practitioner, except where Taoism is concerned), and medicine. I'm also musically trained in piano, voice, xylophone and music theory. When I have free time, I'm an avid gamer on both consoles and board games.

All-in-all, very much a jack-of-all-trades. Keep an open mind along with the benefit of the doubt, and people will open their hearts to you and teach you without even being aware of it.
The first things people usually notice about me
People tend to take note of my height, size (particularly pecs and glutes) and hair first. But other times, acquaintances have actually commented on my eyes and that they hint at something very intense, almost piercing.

The six things I could never do without
My hands! Oh, my sweet hands!
My feline companion Athena.
Sex, of course. Hmph!
A gym membership.
Gaming systems in general.
New horizons to explore.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Being a philosopher makes that a difficult question to answer briefly, but I'll try at the very least. Self-improvement is a major factor, although I try to be flexible and have fun in the process. Plot and character analysis in various media tends to come up often, especially with friends on the same wavelength at the time. Sex also ranks quite highly on the charts.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most of the time, I'm working out since the gym is nice and open with everybody else out partying (and I don't have to wait to use the cable equipment, either). Otherwise, a chill night at home spent with my feline companion and a few friends over games is a particular favorite. I do, on occasion, visit the local nightclubs to socialize and mix it up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Fell in love with "Laser" and "Turbo" from American Gladiators when I was a kid.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like guys
  • Ages 21–40
  • Located anywhere
  • For new friends, long-term dating, casual sex
You should message me if
...if you're serious in meeting me in person at some point, whether you're here in Vegas or open to travel either direction. I love meeting up with friends in distant locales, too. Face-to-face interaction is much more intimate and exciting! But if you're scared of meeting people on OKCupid in person, then hang out on Facebook if you wish to keep people at a distance.

I'm open to dating someone, but that person has to be a friend and lover first before that happens. And although I only care about whether a person is fun to hang out with for being a friend, I'm more discriminating where lovers are concerned. I prefer masculine, athletic men who know their way around the gym (or take another form of athleticism seriously) and are open to trying new (and safe) forms of sex for taking on as lovers. However, that's not a hard and fast rule, as there are a few exceptions (puns, anyone?).

Flakes, drama queens, and those hung up on ex-boyfriends are a HUGE turn-off in addition to people who like to make a first impression with questions like "do you have a big cock?" or "u wanna fuck?" CLASS, people, CLASS! I may be a nymphomaniac, but at least I'm a gentleman.
