I'm easy-going, in the sense of not getting uptight or bent out of shape about things easily, but certainly not complacent. I'd much rather talk things through than argue or be confrontational. If I have a point of view or feel a certain way, I'm not apt to bottle it up, pretty much an open book.

Speaking of open books, I do enjoy learning. I don't know why, but I tend to have a penchant for choosing books, movies and music that are a little more difficult. Probably because they are a bit more stimulating most of the time (unfortunately not always) I must confess that sometimes it can take me a while to get through some books, but a book that's worth reading is worth taking the time to enjoy. I do enjoy reading very much, mostly stuff that's a little unusual.

I have a good heart and just want to do the right thing. Yet, my sense of humor can be somewhat mischievous sometimes, and a good laugh or a harmless prank is always appreciated, either to give or receive. I am playful and like surprises.

I am genuine, quirky, and inquisitive

I appreciate that I have a job that can be rather challenging at times, albeit a bit stressful at others. It's good to feel challenged though. I also enjoy playing music; always puts an otherwise rough day into a better perspective. I tend to work hard at whatever I do but taking some time out for fun. That is always important.

My eyes, so I've been told....or that I tend to be somewhat quiet when I first meet someone, but I've only heard that after I've gotten to know someone. I surelydon't remain quiet.

Books: Usually not the latest bestseller.... Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbeau, Silence by John Cage, Kafka On The Shore by Haruki Murakami, and also anything by Samuel Beckett, Alfred Jarry, Philip K Dick, Gertrude Stein, David Ohle, Lewis Carroll, William Butler Yeats, J D Salinger, Albert Camus, Antonin Artaud, George Orwell, William S Burroughs, Federico Garcia Lorca....

Movies: Lost In Translation, Wings of Desire, Abre Los Ojos (the Spanish film that Vanilla Sky was based on), Holy Mountain, Motorcycle Diaries, Amelie, This Is Spinal Tap, Repo Man....

Music: eclectic.... some faves are Animal Collective, Flaming Lips, Stooges, Sun Ra, Neko Case, Lee Scratch Perry, Fela Kuti, The Fall, Sex Pistols, Link Wray and overall, a strange mix of odd, obscure stuff... I could go on and on, but that'd run the risk of being very boring.

Food: open to all kinds of food(not a fussy eater -- everything besides popcorn, cranberries and grapefruit, my only dislikes, but even those I will sometimes even get a craving for from time to time). Japanese, Thai, Indian, Middle Eastern, Brazilian, etc, hate to define it so regionally ...a M'waukeean so appreciate a good fish fry once in a while too. Good food is one of the greatest pleasures in life.

Sometimes I even think about what it is to be thinking.

Sometimes just in mood for a movie. Something atypical is usually preferred though. I'm not generally into bars a whole lot, but I do very much enjoy live music

The question is a contradiction in a sense because it's thus not private once stated, eh? Nevertheless, I'm quite open. If you really do want to know, I will tell you.

....you are genuine in what you do and say. Most importantly, kind, compassionate and caring are vital. Seriously, I want a meaningful relationship that lasts. These are significant traits that truly matter and show you have a heart. Only then can we really fit.
