My Self-Summary

As a Bay Area native -- grew up in Santa Cruz -- I'm thrilled to be living in San Francisco. Here are some other places I've enjoyed living: LA, Singapore, Taipei, Savannah, and Seattle. Visiting new places makes me very happy as does returning to familiar ones.

I love art, design, movies, TV (I know many of you are turning your noses up at me right now), the great outdoors (Yosemite!), cooking, baking (I make a divine lemon layer cake), dining out, travel, and exploring cultures.

I've been described by others as a Happy Soul. I love meeting people who are enthusiastic about life. Though I am consistently jolly and optimistic, I'm not without a sense of appreciation for bitter, sarcastic, humor. (I can never resist a girl with a good sense of humor.)

What I’m doing with my life

I work as a web designer, which I love because it lets me be both creative and geeky. Also, I'm learning Japanese and playing on a rugby team!

Drawing, Painting, Speaking Chinese, making websites, doing crafty stuff, embarrassing myself in public.

Movies: Infernal Affairs, Hero, Crash, Toy Story, Apocalypse Now, Star Wars, Contact. Music: Brandi Carlile, Johnny Cash, The Eagles, Tracy Chapman, Jackson Browne, Aaron Neville, Ben Harper, Rilo Kiley.

Food: Everything except fresh tomatoes (Sad, I know. I've tried many times to like them, but I always want to gag. However, if they're chopped finely enough it works, like in bruschetta or pico de gallo.)

The six things I could never do without

I could do without pretty much everything except a toothbrush.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My next creative project (painting my lamp? baking cupcakes?). My job. The people in my life. The far-off places I want to live. Romance.

On a typical Friday night I am

Cooking dinner, watching a movie, relaxing in the hot tub. Saturday night -- that's when it's ON!
