I am a warm and caring person. I try my best at whatever I do, which can be tricky to negotiate in grad school. I invest a lot of energy in my physical, mental, and emotional health (which are all the same thing really, so I'm not quite as industrious as it may seem). I am a sucker for stimulating conversation and a good laugh.

After being out in the world as a freelance violinist for a while I decided to go back to school for a doctorate in ethnomusicology. My brain hurts, but I'm happy.
