In keeping with the outdoorsy theme, I went to college for geology (field trips?? yes please!). I live in Albany, and while the light pollution makes for terrible stargazing, it makes for pretty good people watching, which can be just as entertaining. I have a job in the environmental science field, and while I enjoy it (most days), it takes up a good deal of my time, which is primarily why I am on this site.
Given enough time and money, I would travel. Where, you ask? Everywhere. Even the shitty random places can leave you with a good story. or dysentery. But hey, that's life - you've gotta roll the dice sometimes.
Some other random facts:
-I'm a car guy. I like a good classic car show on a crisp fall day. also apples on crisp fall days. Or just crisp fall days in general...
-I cannot grow a complete beard, but it hasn't stopped me from rocking some hipster-esque facial hair every now and then.
-I love animals - I have two cats and therefore can't own nice things.
In a nutshell, I love to laugh and do my best to make others laugh with me. It's easy to get bogged down in the same routine, so I enjoy experiencing new things, whether that means cooking and eating delicious new foods, or discovering a new band. I like to think I'm pretty open minded. That being said, I draw the line at overzealous people on a crusade to jam their religion/politics/any other generic hot-button topic in my face. The only thing getting jammed in my face is food, and even then only by me, on my terms.
