Quirky and silly, true to my Gemini nature being a complete dichotomy in so many walks of life, i'm goofy and zany but have a responsible side, i'm cluttered at home but am mindful and respectful of my environment outside the home - whether that be in nature, a movie theater or a restaurant, i have discipline by choosing a vegetarian lifestyle yet complete lack of discipline within that context, the list goes on and on :D

I'm a big animal lover, having the pleasure of being owned and operated by three cute little minions of Sat...err, companion friends. I also, as mentioned above - follow a veggie lifestyle, although i'm the furthest from militant that you could find and i don't preach to others - I'm really "to each their own"

I love hiking, video games, sporting events, writing, sightseeing, movies, dining out. I'm a homebody of sorts, I love going out - but i'm completely content to stay in and do something fun as well.

I love to bake/cook- totally love the idea of making something out of nothing.

The critters in my pics, the 3 kitties live with me. The 2 mutts :P don't live with me but do visit from time to time.

I always try to remember that life is a journey, not a destination.

The first 41 years of life have been a blessing - as life in general is. I've definitely had ups and downs, made choices I'm proud of and choices I wouldn't make again but have helped to make me the person I am today, as I imagine much would be the case for pretty much all of us.

I currently work in IT doing Help Desk/Desktop Support. In addition, I maintain my professional massage therapist licencse as I'd like to continue part-time work in that realm.

My ultimate goal here would be to meet my "best friend", someone I could settle down with, someone to share life's super fun moments, the day to day stuff, and forge through the challenging times supporting one another.

thinking abstractly, making others laugh, being entertaining, making others feel comfortable around me, communicating, being direct/honest/sincere (i know *gasp*), being insightful, good with my hands, i'm a licensed massage therapist, i can make balloons animals (as i used to entertain as costume characters at kids parties)

Movies - What Dreams May Come, The Labyrinth, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Stars Wars, Indiana Jones, Smokey and the Bandit, What the Bleep do We Know, Spawn, love of all things animated/Pixar-y-ish (although the market is soooo watered down and saturated w/these nowadays)...my favorite animated movie, probably Hoodwinked

Music - all kinds... a mix of quirky and dorky. I love movie theme music (Jurassic Park, Labyrinth, etc), 50s music, Hindu bhajans/kirtans, country and western, 80s rock stuff (Poison, Slaughter, Def Leppard, etc), Top 40/current .. and bits and pieces of everything else

Food - Indian, Ethiopian, Thai, Sushi (vegetarian), anything "earthy" - greens, mushrooms, etc, pizza. I consider myself an adventurous eater - much as one can be when following vegan/vegetarian diet. The grosser and more far out something may seem - the more curious I am to try it. I am still looking for my first try at the durian fruit one day...

TV - Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, Walking Dead, food inspired tv shows (Chopped, America's Worst Cooks, Andrew Zimmern), love the humor of Family Guy!!!

- Vitamix (i love this machine so much - i've been tempted to consumate the relationship if not for the fact it would be so darned painful :D)

- Electric Hot Pot (heats water to boiling in like 30 seconds or less) call my silly but i *love* this thing

Recovering from a long week, if at home - probably watching wrestling and playing w/cats, enjoying the chance to sleep in a bit. Otherwise out with friends for something generally low-key, dinner, movies, drink, watching sports....

I'm addicted to "Family Guy" - *there* - I said it, happy now. I also have a thing for Smurfs and sometimes find myself humming the tune on the way to work - hopefully after reading this, the tune is stuck in your head all day. ..............You're Welcome! :D

i'll sometimes buy little bottles of baby food just because they look yummy ... "bananas & mango" ...heck yeah - sign me up!!! "peas and rice" ummm ewww, sounds gross - which means, i *have* to try :P

Ideally, I love to be around people that directly/indirectly I feel inspired to be a better person. Folks with a good heart, non judging, non assuming, folks who can appreciate how much a simple word or two one way or another can affect the day, week, month of more of another.
