My hobbies are science fiction, science fiction fandom, reading just about anything, and fitness. I'm also a gamer. How's that for a geek profile?

I like almost any music with a danceable beat. I don't much like gangsta rap.



I love a wide variety of food, both eating it and cooking. Baking is one of my favorite activities. Unfortunately, I have a tiny kitchen with no counters. It's hard to whip up a good meal at home.

All kinds of things. My big interests involve history; especially the history of technology.



What I've been reading lately are books about gardening. My main interest at the moment is in container gardening. I am redoing my storefront office. I have a great southern exposure, so I am investigating growing some things in my windows. I also love garden design in general. Don't know if I'd love taking care of a large garden. But a small garden might be nice. I'm starting by getting more foliage plants at the office.

Friday night sees me at home. I'm not a big party guy. I read a great deal.
