Aside from my staggering incompetency, I'm smart, self-aware and I have a wacky sense of humour.
I'm a geek and a punk rock and metal fan. I spend a lot of time either on the net, or at concerts. I am part of street teams for a few local bands, and when bands come to Australia I sometimes follow them around.

I am also a comic book fan, and an avid, avid reader.

I have recently been lured into the wild world of metal, and am gaming a lot. I can guarantee I will bring up Fallout 3 in any conversation we have.

At the moment I am waiting for my course to start! Next year I am doing a Diploma of Youth Work, which is three days of study a week. Fun times, people.

I am also getting my shit together, re life and fitness and stuff. It's good to be a more together person, which is why I am back on the site, because I don't look for dating if I am not feeling good about myself, you know?

Cooking! I am a kitchen wizard. Also, listening, dancing, writing, and the interwebs.

My friends: I have a large, awesome group of friends, and I am very involved in their lives and they in mine. Part of the reason I am on here is because I can't date people I know so well!

My sister: i love my little sister, she's freaking awesome. The end.

My cat: My cat is a large white moggie called Gallifrey. He is basically a little jerk, and I love his guts out. I also like most other animals, though not a huge big dog fan.

Livejournal: Livejournal is where I live, I swear to god. All my friends have lj, and so does my sister.

Feminism and how it is still relevant and important in today's society.

Fanfiction, and how dudes still do it for me fictionally. Dudes on my 'I would still do them' list are: William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Zachary Quinto, Tex Perkins, David Bowie, Paul Bettany, and Ioan Gruffud. Yeah, if I ever went to mantown again, it'd have to be for one of them.

Cooking! Planning new recipes. I love the creativity that happens with cooking, both the successes and the failures.

Anime, and how, despite its huge, huge issues, I love it. I am an anime fan, and occasionally an anime apologist. But I love it, I love the creativity and the craziness,and the originality that it offers.

Front row, at a concert, moshing out with the band. Either that, or at a friend's place watching horrible c-grade vampire movies.

I have been diagnosed with depression and live with it, sometimes cheerfully, sometimes not. I'm medicated and dealing with it very successfully, so I'm actually doing quite well.

You are a woman and/or girl-bodied if not girl-spirited, interested in dating or being friends. I don't think the body defines who we are, so I am more then happy to be messaged by both transmen and transwomen.
