My self-summary
The urge to use sarcasm throughout this is overwhelming.
Well, this I say with utmost sincerity: tener pectus pectorius exsisto solvo ut nox noctis--though of course my meaning is still disguised.

I am absent-minded, psychic, and can move at will. So I kind of spin around a lot.
I'm looking for a way to merge with pure creativity. I love you (at least on the first tier) if you agree with what Bill Hicks says about marketing, etc.
I dislike doors that lock behind me, but only in a literal sense.
In the Japanese horoscope/children's game, I am a Green Fawn.

Oh, that $1,000,000 income, that is sarcasm (or is it...?)--but yeesh. C'mon! Don't make me yawn.
My favorite colors are green and black, often intertwined, if you were wondering.
What I’m doing with my life
Studying it, trying to purge fear. The usuals.
I’m really good at
I play music. I can cook; weave (around cars on my bike). Sprint over bridges on my bike. (I'm male. We race each other ladies. It's true. Can't help it. No apologies. I do try to be graceful/gracious, though.) Sussing things out via squinting. Orangutan dancing. Not knowing everything and especially not pontificating about what little I know in a loud voice to anyone within 100 feet of me. Do people actually like this? I'm suspecting NYers actually like this...
Elaborate hand gestures when I go to open open locks (I'm not Italian).
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite colors are green and black, often intertwined.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books/Authors, lately: Tove Janssen, Tolstoy's "What is Art" (remarkable), Jane Austen, DFW, Thoreau, Ken Kesey, Alfred Jarry, Phillip K. Dick, DH Lawrence, Studs Terkel. Chester Himes. John Fante. William T. Vollman. John Williams. Tillie Olsen. Gwendolyn Brooks, Alden Nowlan--and lady (-ies) if you have suggestions for women authors that pack a mean expressive/philosophical wallop, I'd like to hear about it .
Movies: Daisies, The Valseuses, (If you've seen both these films you'd see how this is funny); Ozu, Sci-Fi movies (also funny).
Music: Janka Nabay. Slayer. TISM. Warning. French Neo-Electro-Ambient Metal. John Carpenter soundtracks. Bulgarian Chorales, Sviridov, Afro-beat. Autechre and the like.
Food: Yeah, no shit--I need to eat. I don't get ninny-ish about this here category, but I'm healthy, too.
The six things I could never do without
"Things." Heh. I'm glad that I know how to live/survive on the bare minimum, if I have to.
Unique, non-market driven (or at least not so egregiously) nor trendy music that you might see/hear performed in front of 10 people at times and not out of exclusivity. I live for that.
People telling me not to act like a baby, when I do.
Falling down.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything, arms under my head, staring up at the ceiling.
On a typical Friday night I am
Looking for some kind of real connection. My internet's been down, har dee har.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Like James Osterberg, I wish I could be a part of the middle class--and I'm not talking about money here. Also, I'd prefer to meet people in everyday, non-digital existence.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 36–48
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
Don't worry so much!

But also, ok, I should state/point out (at the risk of sounding "judgmental") that I don't seem to jibe with mainstreamy types, which seems to be many of the crew here in okcupidville (I could be wrong). I enjoy all people in a one to one situation, of course, but I enjoy the progressive (and avant-garde) especially: "The people I like live... in kitchens and halls," etc (If you know who wrote this, we will be stride for stride, guaranteed). Lists of tv shows don't interest me too much--(FUN, I'm interested in though.) If you're a "bent bow" or "bent bow-ish"and have/value an extremely wide-open, curious mind, we'd probably hit it off.
Like this will attract anyone. Ah, well, fuck it. Dragon at the gate it is.
