I'm pretty much vegetarian, apart from the occasional fish. (Meat
is murder, fish is justifiable homicide.) I hate goatees; maybe
that makes me superficial, but it's the only appearance thing I
really hate beyond all reason, so I'm willing to admit it.
I'm goth-adjacent. I'm particularly interested in
photography,
electronic music,
graphic
design and
video games, but I have a wide
variety of secondary interests ranging from
Buddhism to
comic books. I live in South Austin
with my wife (also bi) and two
parakeets. I'm a software developer,
primarily web applications. I work for
IBM.
I'm collecting ideas for unwritten novels and
interactive fiction,
playing with bits of plunderphonic sound collage, scanning old
family photos from the 60s and 70s, editing short
home movies and making DVDs,
photographing stuff that interests me, and writing on random topics
on my web site.
I'm also playing way too many video games, currently
LittleBigPlanet,
Team Fortress
2,
WipEout
HD and
echochrome.
I obsess over my bird companions, who are pretty spoiled, and I'm
gradually taming our selection of backyard squirrels.
I can do pretty much anything involving
computers, from building a PC out of
parts to developing a database-backed web site. Unusually for a
Unix guy, I can also speak plain English. Plus, I don't have a pony
tail, and I'm trying not to become fat.
I'm rarely clean-shaven. I'm English.
Coffee, courier
bag, credit card, computer, black clothing,
BlackBerry (sorry, but in my defense
I don't use it for work).
Mortality, my unfinished projects,
cosmology,
squirrels,
birds.
Looking forward to a lazy Saturday morning, reading in bed while
sipping a
latte.
I'm a lucid dreamer, but any attempt to make the
dreams sexy seems to result in my
waking up.
Your life doesn't revolve around getting drunk. You're a cute Asian
guy. You want to switch from Windows to something else. You can
spell and punctuate. You play
PS3 games and like online cooperative
multiplayer. You're a curvy female massage therapist I can set my
wife up on a date with.
