I'm a busy graduate student just on here to find someone to chat with and befriend. Or, possibly date.

Most of my reading involves technical scientific stuff, but I like to read well-written cultural essays that wittily shit on things that I either love or hate. Also, I read a hodgepodge of print/online newspapers/magazines: Slate, The Atlantic, Guardian, NYT, The Onion

I've read some Kundera, Pynchon, and Crichton. I really like Catch-22 and 1984.

Movies: I like movies by Stanley Kubrick, Wes Anderson, the Coen brothers, or ones starring Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

I eat vegetarian for health / flavor reasons. Though, if someone prepares something real special with some meat in it I will graciously accept.

Shows: Pop-science documentaries about space / physics that use all those famous scientists and trippy graphics. Carl Sagan, Brian Greene, etc.

Documentaries about anything.

Colbert Report, X-files, Breaking Bad, Parks and Rec, Community, Curb Your Enthusiasm.
