I am artistic, observant, and stir crazy.

My Self-Summary

I am mainly here to find someone interested in a long term relationship, but I am also looking for others for friends as well. I have an insanely wide variety of diverse interests and would also like to find others who are interested in some of the same things I am.

In my free time I enjoy photography, hiking, camping, painting, multimedia design, obsessively collecting things (the more random and obscure the better). I am constantly reading a lot of books on many different subjects as well, and much of my time is spent reading something or another with whatever I find interesting at the moment. Some of my favorite topics include quantum physics, chaos mathematics, philosophies of all types and anything by Clifford Pickover.

I am very open-minded and very liberal/free-thinking yet always going with the flow, and I rarely believe anything presented to me by society and mainstream culture, though I like to analyze and observe it, as I find the human species to be quite a puzzle indeed.

Im looking for people I can connect with on more than just an every day level, and at the moment that seems like probably the most rare and next to impossible thing in the world to me, but its not in my nature to give up. I have a strong desire for symbiosis and equality in experience and nature with other people, but its often hard for me to find those who really appreciate those things in the same ways that I do.

Somewhat I live in obscurity, an observer in the background of the dimensions of life...not known to many but always trying to see the unseen. I am forever seeking non-linear experiences and fragments of infinite velocity...

What I’m doing with my life

At the moment I am working for the most part. Ive already been through school and college, where I graduated with degrees in computer science and multimedia, and all of that is behind me. However I am still constantly learning new things and I will never stop doing so...

I have two jobs, my main one is working from home doing web/database development/multimedia design for a regional web development company, and another is part-time at a shop for extra income and my own amusement.

Aside from all that I just mostly hang around with the few friends I have or Im on here rotting my brain out on the internet, reading, doing some computer geek crap, gaming, working on different artistic ideas, searching for new and interesting music and art forms and other things like that. Im not really much of a social/party person, I stay away from large crowds and public places a lot...Id rather be with a few close friends than masses of people...there are exceptions to this of course, Im not a total hermit though it seems tempting sometimes.

However I am looking to move on to some place beyond here. The world is an amazingly huge place and I believe there is much beauty in it to explore and experience.

I’m really good at

Im really good at reading and analyzing people, even if I dont know them. I have a strong sense of observation and figuring things out from the little things that other people tend to not notice for the most part.

I am also very technically minded, I can figure out almost anything electronic/mechanical but that just comes with the territory of being a strong observer.

I like finding patterns and connections between things and seeing how they related to one another.

Aside from that Im not sure...Im artistically inclined in many different forms of artistic media but I seem to also be good at hitting mental road blocks here lately, but its been driving me to seek more inspiration in more out of the way places and ideas.

The first things people usually notice about me

is that Im quiet and keep to myself a lot. This isnt because Im shy or anything like that, its just that Im not usually one to be the big small talker in the crowd...I was never good at discussing the weather, who killed who on TV or anything like that. Physically I guess the first thing people notice about me is my eyes or hair.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

As previously stated, I like any book on quantum sciences, metaphysics, world or cultural philosophies, and art, as well as some sci-fi and horror, but Ive gotten very picky about those genres lately. I also obsessively collect various versions of the I Ching, the older the better. Some of my favorite authors are Clifford Pickover, Michio Kaku, Terrence McKenna, Poppy Z. Brite, and Aristotle.

Musically my tastes are diverse, yet Ive become more set on finding more obscure or extreme forms of music lately. I dont like many 'popular' musics (i.e. anything on the radio) and I listen mostly genres of industrial/ebm, old school alternative, celtic, death metal, black metal, doom metal, underground/indie, atmospheric, ambient, modern classical, hardcore, techno, drum 'n bass, some older 80s stuff, and anything with a violin and/or piano.

Some of my favorite bands/groups: Agalloch, Moonspell, Star of Ash, Skinny Puppy, Funker Vogt, Kylesa, Psyclon Nine, Necrophagist, Swallow the Sun, Artesia, Die Sektor, Virgin Black, Skeletonwitch, Tristania, Black Sun Aeon, Opeth, and Tactical Sekt, as well as a million others.

Im always up for a good movie, usually in the genres of horror, sci-fi, comedy or documentary though I rarely go to see them in theaters unless its going to be something really really good. A few of my all tim favorites are the Cube trilogy, The Fountain, The Lost Room, and any kind of zombie flick.

And as for food, well, as long as its not still alive I'll probably eat it. I like a lot of Japanese and Asian foods. I crave dark chocolate and those gummy peach ring things. However Ive been trying to eat more healthy (as well as be more healthy overall)...slowly but surely eh?

Other stuff:

TV- Fringe, Doctor Who, BSG, NCIS, House, Adult Swim, and random things on NatGeo, Discovery etc (especially things about science, space and the universe).

Hobbies-
PC and console gaming - tons of DS games, Left 4 Dead, Okami, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Unreal Tournament, Crysis, various other RPGs and ARPGs, Shadow of the Colossus, and especially most of all anything in the danmaku genre, namely the Touhou series (google it).

I also like- collecting colored glass bottles, doing anything and everything in Photoshop (working on getting Adobe certification), going to shows/concerts, hiking, camping, going to waterfalls, HDR photography, landscape photography, painting, sculpting, interior design, and finding weird USB powered devices.

Im also fond of some forms of anime and manga though Im also quite picky about what I like. When I first got into it there wasnt hardly anything around, now its everywhere and I think that a good bit of it is kind of shallow and not very well done, but Im always open to new stories and adventures.

For all of the above I have many very specific interests and favorites but there are too many to list here, just ask if you want to know more :)

The six things I could never do without

1. My camera - I love taking pictures of anything and everything, and Im also kind of big into image manipulation, macro photography and HDR photography.

2. My computer - of course, its my link to the rest of the world and new information, it also pays my bills.

3. My cat, Shadow - she is my spoiled princess. A friend found her as a kitten wandering the side of the road and she eventually came to live with me...I couldnt imagine life without her cutesy spoiled antics.

4. A good book - reading is one of the most important things to me, everyone should read more!!

5. Chocolate - the life force, especially dark chocolate, mmm...

6. Chaos - randomization and the butterfly effect, fractals and theoretical math, sacred geometry and hidden patterns...these are the things that inspire and motivate me the most.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

existence, the Universe, the path of human society, future technological advancements, finding the others, artistic endeavors, random miscellaneous debris, my life as a whole...where Ive been, where Im going and how to get there. I think too much for my own good sometimes, its hard not for me to get buried and lost in a sea of thoughts and ideas.

On a typical Friday night I am

relaxing mostly, or blasting the heads off of zombie scum (which is also very relaxing). Maybe going to see some live music or being with my friends watching a good movie or playing video games with them.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

is that I have no secrets really...Im an open book. If theres something that you think I might consider private that you absolutely must know, just ask!

You should message me if

you are intellectual and artistic in some way and wish to have intelligent meaningful conversations. Or if you just think Im interesting and want to talk.

Those who show a passion to explore the many dimensions and beautiful aspects of life and the Universe are very appealing to me.

Or if you feel like we connect on some other level of interest besides just the physical. I am not interested in flings or one night stands or anything like that

Ive been single and on my own for almost two years now but Im ready to move forward again, get out of my shell and find some others to connect with. As I said in my summary, Im not only looking for a long term relationship but Im also looking for other dynamic minds to connect and share things with and that is the MOST important thing to me above all else.
