I have been programming for almost 7 years now and I can program in C++, Java, C#, and a little Python. The reason I open with this is because this is probably the biggest thing in my life. If you look at my screen on my laptop or desktop there is a really high chance of some IDE or something coding related being open. It is simply my passion in life.
I am a very interesting kind of person to meet, many people upon meeting me find me loud upbeat personality annoying. One of my friends once said, "When I first met Alan I thought he was annoying, now after knowing him for a year I sit at home bored thinking, 'Damn, where's Alan?'"
I am a very avid gamer, they are also a big part of my life, it is my main method of having fun with my friends, whether it be League of Legends, Team Fortress 2, or osu! I really enjoy playing games with my friends.
I am a beginner poi spinner(Click this if you don't know what it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFEIS8dMS6o) I have been doing it since winter of 2012 and I have been having a lot of fun with it and I bring my poi almost everywhere.
I hope to work in game development, reason being is that since both gaming and programming are both big aspects of my life, I would like to combine them into one career that I would love, also the atmosphere amongst game devs and designers tends to be more friendly and inviting than other more professions and office jobs. I actually have a fairly decent shot at working at Riot Games next summer if I keep working for it and I stay persistent. I have some connections but my portfolio is still weak but it's in progress. I have a few projects that might work well on it.
I also have a strange hobby of going on matches, searching everywhere for people who are currently online and setting it to highest enemy percentage and challenging them to caged death matches.
I am working on getting more pictures of myself on this site but my friends aren't exactly the kind to take pictures and the only ones they do take are not exactly flattering. Then again that picture I posted isn't exactly flattering either.
