I am courious, amazing, and resilient.
My Self-Summary
I am finally starting to settle in. For a while I felt a little
lost in transition. Moving back to the area has been interesting
for me after living, working and traveling out of the Sacramento
area for the last 10 years. It was a great place with easy access
to adventures in the mountains, the coast or even the the bay area
or LA for a road trip. I have managed to squeeze in a few
adventures to the Olympics since returning and always curious to
find out about new places to go and see.
What I’m doing with my life
I am very curious by nature and love to go exploring. Not always
major expeditions but find enjoyment in the little things that make
life different and interesting. I will take a different road home
after work to just see what is on it. I order something different
on menus just to try something new.
I’m really good at
Making the best of any situation. I am a very positive person, and
belive in making the best of what you have while you have it. Life
can change at any moment
The first things people usually notice about me
I cant eat ice cream without getting some on my nose or shirt? I
have fun. Even at work or the simple tasks at hand I make them fun
and enjoy life.
I have an inner child that keeps me young, but I balance it out
with being responsible at the same time.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
when I read it is mainly travel books or essays. I manage to mix in
a few classics or things I started years ago and I am getting back
to.
Movies - if you havent guessed by now I like to laugh and some af
my all time favs are Big or Fletch. Always like a good action
flick, but was blown away by Million Dollar Baby. I recently really
enjoyed Taken, it was nice to see a movie that kept evolving and
not your usual good guy vs. bad guy plot.
Food and music are completly open topics for me where anything goes
The six things I could never do without
Lets see this one is tough! coffee, Coffee, COFFEE, Oh did I say
coffee
My best friend Seth and being near the water.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think about the places I have seen, the friends I have made over
the years and how thankful I am to have lived life.
I think about my next adventure and try to find the balance of work
and play.
On a typical Friday night I am
I work late on some fridays and can either be relaxing at home
kicking back with friends or packing up and hitting the road for a
weekend getaway
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I love being in the water, but I really dont know how to
swim.
Yes, I have snorkled in the South China Sea, Kayaked in the gulf of
mexico, surfed in Hawaii, but sink like a rock .
