Books: Vonnegut is good. Last book read was River of Doubt:
Theodore Roosevelt's Darkest Journey. Great book, if interested in
travel, Brazil's history, Rain-forest and/or Roosevelt; I highly
recommend.
Movies: I prefer going to the Ritz Theatres or the Bryn Mawr
Theatre. Therefore independent, art and foreign films are good with
me. Though hollywood can still catch me off guard sometimes.
I've seen the primary Paul Newman movies but will explore more of
his work. The Hustler is a perfect movie (the cinematography in
this movie is amazing along with script, acting and the ensemble of
that film).
Music: My ipod has every genre I can think of. Currently looking
for some good Spanish guitar. Major bands i'm into: Decemberists,
Deathcab for Cutie, Postal Service, Hem, Rilo Kiley, Speechwriters
LLC, Airborne Toxic Event, Better than Ezra, Edward Sharpe, Ella
Fitzgerald, Josh Ritter, Laura Gibson, Mason Jennings, Modest
Mouse, Eddie Vedder . . .. . etc. I also enjoy classical, jazz
(especially New Orleans Jazz), oldies, classic rock . . .
Shows: PBS is great. One of the few places that I trust in their
integrity for the news. Frontline is outstanding along with NOW and
many of there other news programs.

Battlestar Galactica (reimagined version) Great social/poltical
issues were brought into the show.
The League
Outsourced was good but alas canceled (Haven't seen the movie
yet)
