My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am originally from Washington, D.C. Hence, I am one of those rare native Washingtonians. I went to college and graduate school in New York. I am especially interested in American politics, cities, and diversity. I used to work for the U.S. Congress on Capitol Hill.

In my free time, I help with community events (such as festivals), take photographs, watch movies, listen to music, write trivia questions about U.S. politics and other topics, go to museums, help immigrants, and do other activities. I also like to sing (I have sung in multiple music groups at a variety of venues, including the Kennedy Center and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in the District of Columbia.). I enjoy meeting people. I also like traveling around the United States and the world. It is always wonderful to learn about different cultures.

In addition, I like to keep up with current events, especially about American politics.
