I have a theory about online dating, and I'm guilty of it as much as anyone else. We go so caught up in single details about people that we always think - well this person seems pretty good, but I bet I can find better. So we end up bypassing a profile or a date because of a perceived problem. We ignore people because they aren't tall enough, or because they misspelled something in their profile. Because they answered one question in a way we didnt like or their openING mestage wasn't creating enough. Yet we're all still here, looking for 'the one'. How many of those people we ignored online were people we would've engaged with if we met them in person? That's what dating with infinite options leaves us. A million channels and nothing is on.
