Truth be told, I'm a study in contradiction... I like having nice nails but have no problem taking apart a toilet. I grew up in the country but am equally comfortable in the city. My house is tidy but you'll find messy drawers. I'm patient until I'm not. I love my dog but not his bark. I can buy real estate a lot easier than kitchen hand towels. I'm very outgoing but get uncomfortable if I don't make a connection. I like to be needed in a relationship but can't handle needy. I'm 39 but can act 49 or 29 depending on the day. I get nervous before going on some trips but once I'm in motion I'm ready to sell everything and keep on going. I love new experiences but also enjoy the familiar. I'll fight hard for what I believe in but I don't like conflict. Certain grammar errors drive me mad but I consistently make one that should be criminal.

I have an affinity for NYT crossword puzzles but confess I will never be smart enough to finish a Saturday puzzle. I accept this.

I love all spicy food despite my stomach's rebellion. I'll eat just about anything really, except goat cheese. Never goat cheese.

I like British crime shows, crime dramas, DIY and documentaries. Breaking Bad is amazing! Homeland, House of Cards, The Good Wife, Sherlock. My favorite movie is a quirky French Canadian film called Leolo. My second favorite movie is What About Bob.

My music tastes are all over the place... Americana, alternative, bluegrass, blues, classical. Really I'm not very picky.
