My Self-Summary
Now I am looking to find a family man who can hopefully join my family one day. I would like to start with friendship first though, because I need to be cautious. I don't want to take a chance of having my kids be hurt, so I need to move forward as intelligently as possible.
I like to do family kinds of things: camping, bbqs, swimming, going to the park with the kids and the dogs, etc. Besides spending time with my family and friends, I enjoy reading, playing on the computer, and watching a good action packed movie.
I'm not much of a drinker; I don't smoke or do drugs, and I hope to find someone similar in nature.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Movies: I have been going to see things like Monsters vs. Aliens and G-Force, but I prefer action movies or crime/drama.
Music: I like it all, but with the kids I feel so out of touch. I think I know how to spell all the color words though. R E D red, R E D red, I can spell red, I can spell red, fire trucks are red, stop signs are red, too, R E D, R E D ---Isn't that the music you like? Ugh@!!
Food: I like mexican food and italian food. Enchiladas are a family favorite and lasagna is one of my comfort foods.
The six things I could never do without
1) phone - I am not a big phone person, but it is my primary connection with my mother who lives 3 hours away.
2) computer - silly, I know, but I love to do much of my reading on the computer and it is how I stay in touch with the world.
3) my dogs - animals are sweet; they make us feel good even when we are down; I have two dogs and I don't want to ever have to be without them. Besides, on a cold night, my chihuahua helps to keep me warm.
4) my bed - sleep is essential to the quality of life. I don't know about you, but when I don't get to sleep in my own bed for a few nights, I am exhausted.
5) companionship - being able to talk to people and share the good and bad of my life is important. Without having friends around to talk to, life would be boring and lonely. Why do you think I am writing this list? I'm looking for some companionship.
6) air conditioning - I live in Fresno where during the summer it gets to be 110 degrees for several days in a row. Heck summer here goes from about May to October. Without a good air conditioner, I would go nuts.
