My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a laid-back guy who enjoys watching movies, hanging out with friends, and having intelligent conversations about topics ranging from the most intense and complicated to the absolute absurd.

I'm a little shy and rather reserved until I get to know someone. But once I come out of my shell, it's hard to contain my sarcastic and witty remarks.

I like doing puzzles, playing games, and occasionally going to bars with friends. Watching movies either by myself or with friends is one of my favorite things to do. The movies don't have to be good, in fact going MST3K on an awful movie with friends can be extremely entertaining.

I've been trying to be more outgoing and adventurous, trying new things.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a degree in Biology from the Univeristy of Washington and some knowledge of computers and programming. I work in IT at an insurance company for cats and dogs. I'm surrounded by animals at work and it's great. I would love to combine my skills with IT and biology but I'm still working on getting more skills in IT, so I'm putting that on the back burner for now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a sounding board. People tend to vent about things to me often and find me helpful.
I'm also good with my hands, and like trying to fix broken things and put things together, almost always successfully I might add.
Puzzles, card games, riddles, and video games.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my eyes and eyelashes. They can change colors between green, blue, and grey depending on the light and the shirt I'm wearing (my eyes not my eyelashes, they stay the same color, they're just long).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books- Harry Potter, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, Into the Wild, Grendel.

Movies- Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, Desperado, Emperor's New Groove, Elf, old school Disney movies(especially Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood), The Lord of the Rings trilogy, original Star Wars trilogy, Harry Potter series, Super Troopers, The Big Lebowski, Black Dynamite, Role Models, Cheech and Chong Up in Smoke, all kung-fu movies, Galaxy Quest, Shawshank Redemption, Saving Grace, Ted, Dredd, the Indiana Jones movies, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Muppet Treasure Island, Labyrinth, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I'm actually not a huge fan of horror movies, except for ones with haunted houses or ghosts and ones full of mystery and suspense. The slasher genre and snuff horror (Hostel, Saw, Human Centipede) is ridiculous and not entertaining to me in the slightest. Except for Tucker and Dale vs. Evil because it's a parody of the genre and hilarious.
That's a short list of movies I enjoy. Aside from Horror I enjoy every genre from action to mystery to documentaries to rom-coms.

TV Shows- Parks and Recreation (Ron Swanson is my hero), Arrested Development, Adventure Time, Modern Family, The Office, The Middle, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Naruto, Flight of the Concords, Invader Zim, Archer, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Monk, Jeeves and Wooster, Black Adder.

Music- Mumford and Sons, Dispatch, Modest Mouse, fun., Neutral Milk Hotel, Queen, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Sublime, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, Jay-Z, Cypress Hill, Lil Wayne, Tool. I'll listen to pretty much anything and am always up for new and interesting music.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Movies
2. Friends
3. Sleep
4. A Computer
5. Video games
6. My brain
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Random things mostly. Awesome abilities that animals have that humans don't, and figuring out how they work. How to survive a zombie apocalypse. Acquiring new skills, both academic and life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either at home watching movies, playing video games, or at a friend's house relaxing.
