Love this quote from author Anne Lamott. "Your problem is how you are going to spend this odd and precious life you have been issued. Whether you're going to spend it trying to look good and creating the illusion that you have power over people and circumstances or whether you taste it, enjoy it and find the truth about who you are." - Nov 23, 2012

Taught and provided workshops on Youth Developmental Issues and Experiential Education in 38 states. Semi-retired and mainly writing, gardening, and providing place of comfort and mischief for Benny the cat. (Benny is generally recognized, by kitty experts in the know, as the greatest feline of all time.)

I have been " perfectly sighted'' for the last 5 years after several years of blindness – a period I now see as a blessing. Among other things, it gave me a far greater appreciation of music.

You care deeply and passionately about environmental, human rights and animal rights issues. You love movies, theater and keep up on current events and are savvy related to social and justice issues. You enjoy slow, soft and long term kissing activity! You like to laugh, are witty, and can be a bit silly at times. You believe that "special love moments" are not just for the young, but help keep one young at heart. You can take losses at Scrabble with good humor. You have sustained long term relationships with integrity and have close friends of both sexes. You love nature and are a life nurturer. You enjoy long walks or bicycling, and are fit. You are progressive in your thinking and appreciate diversity in people, culture, and spirituality. Appreciation of Buddhism a plus.

You would enjoy quality conversations with a guy who does not have all the answers, does not have to have the last word, and is not interested dating for dating's sake, but is seeking a long-term exclusive relationship.
