I'm a great, smart guy with a busy and fulfilling life, but I'm always looking to get out and try new things. I'm loyal and caring, and I'm looking for a lovely, intelligent woman who's willing to be the same with me.

I am a freelance writer, mostly writing about technology, gadgets, and games. I'm also a volunteer -- I work with kids writing and reading at a few nonprofits around town. I also exercise by running and swimming, and I do improv, and I enjoy exploring the crazy bar scene of Los Angeles. I also love traveling -- in the past year, I've been to London, Paris, Berlin, Prague, Marseille, New York, San Francisco, Vegas, Denver, and Florida. Next up, I'm driving up to Utah and Colorado, and then in a year or so I'm aiming for a tour of Asia.

Favorite books: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Tale of Two Cities, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, Jennifer Government.

Favorite movies: Batman Returns (seriously, I can tell you why this is so great), Magnolia, Sneakers, Hudsucker Proxy, Pulp Fiction.

Favorite shows: Lately it's Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, Mad Men, Parks and Rec, the usual. But they're all so good.

Music: Cake, The Police, Bad Religion, Guster, Queen, Stars. The Macklemore and Ryan Lewis album is my latest joint.

Food: Umami Burger is great, and I'm still exploring for the best sushi. Also looking for good pizza in LA -- nothing I've found has matched up to Chicago yet.

-My computer -- it's prime storage for all of the thoughts that aren't in my head.
-My iPhone -- full of games, and my main point of contact when we're not together.
-A pen and paper -- nothing better for scribbling or drawing on.
-A sense of humor -- NGAF.
-A good book -- reading makes me a better person, which is why I do it so much.

A lot of things! My brain runs like a freight train. Just today I was thinking about Angry Birds, Star Wars, relationships and why they're important, public transportation, old people, the aging process, stars, how to stop time, time travel, the Universal Studios clock tower (is it still there or did it burn down?), signing up for another 10k, and what color socks I like best. That was about thirty seconds of my day. Thanks, brain!
