I am overworked, humourous, and somewhat musical.

My Self-Summary

I have no idea what to write here --- I guess I'll do a bit of the physical. I'm about 5'3" (approximately 1.6 meters for those of you not from the States), lime green eyes and hair of varying hues of brown and blonde. Maybe I'll get my friends to write something monumental and I'll post it here. Probably not.

My best friend is vanillasoleil. Sometimes it sucks to have your best friend be a hot lesbian. :P

What I’m doing with my life

I work. And work some more.

I currently work in the Logistics department of Havertys Furniture Company at the Western Distribution Center. (Havertys makes it home.) Eventually I plan on going back to school, but that'll be when I decide what I want to do when I grow up.

I'm in a band, Sorting Debris. I play rhythm guitar and bass. And we're all on OKC - but when we get famous we'll probably have personal assistants update these pages.

I’m really good at

Remembering things. For some reason I have this innate ability to remember useless facts about people, places, and events.

I like to pretend I'm a fairly good musician, but that may be pipe dreams.

The first things people usually notice about me

Apparently people have been noticing my eyes lately. Don't know why, I've had the same ones for 24 years and no one's said anything about them before.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

a) I wish I read more.

b) Anything directed by Tim Burton, anything staring Johnny Depp, Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly (or any of the rest of the Frat Pack - I have really cheesy humor), I go see movies with John Krasinski in them whether they're good or bad, because I like him in The Office. I like Batman movies, and typically any other superhero / comic book movie. Occasionally I'll go to the Angelika and see artsy fartsy movies, but usually I go to the Dollar Theater and see second run films.

c) Coldplay, Savage Garden, Darren Hayes, The Verve Pipe, Brian Vander Ark, Gackt, Malice Mizer, L'arc~en~Ciel, Boston, The Beatles, Rufus Wainwright, Michael Tolcher, Steve Burns, Keane, Rooney, John Mayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers. I have a CD of nothing but songs from Guitar Hero that gets lots of play while I drive.

d) Tex-Mex, Japanese, Indian.

e) (Television) Family Guy, Futurama, Mythbusters, House, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office (America), Dirty Jobs. Of course, my television watching is usually confined to either Sprint TV on my phone or on the internet. I <3 hulu.com.

The six things I could never do without

My friends (who I argue with), my music (that no one understands), my computer (that is an extension of myself), my car (a blazing ray of sunshine in Dallas), my cell phone (although I want an Instinct more than you know), and my guitars (<3).

Oh, damn, I left off 'food' and 'water.' At least when I die of dehydration or starvation I'll have all of those material things. I wonder if I'd feel the same if I were dying.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

People that don't exist. Its a long story.

On a typical Friday night I am

Trying to figure out what I want to do with my new-found free time. I used to work Saturdays but my work schedule changed recently. I haven't had Friday nights available since... oh... 2004?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I don't really have much to admit -- there aren't too many secrets over here.

You should message me if

If I haven't scared you off yet.
