My self-summary
...subject to change at any time...

I've got an eclectic vision of life. I'm into information gathering - from a variety of sources (I readily admit to falling into the internet rabbit hole, while investigating some bright and sparkly or deep and dark subject that has crossed my path)...Squirrel!!!

What I’m doing with my life
Preparing myself for the 2nd half of life. Trying to make a difference during each day at work. Being true to myself(OYS).

Doing more listening...I was at the mechanic's the other day, when an elderly gentleman sat next to me and asked..."Do you like football?" Over the next two hours, we had a far-flung conversation about sports, his WWII experiences (including a two month bus trip across the United States after his discharge from the Army), his deceased wife and his failing health. I watched his face light up when he talked about taking his nine year old great-grandson to his karate matches (the kid is a blue belt) and how the same kid solves all his computer problems. His car was ready before mine and I remember feeling like we had barely scratched the surface regarding my questions about a "used-to-be" America. Goodnight, Mr. Freed....wherever you are....

What is with the current fascination with ghosts and the supernatural on cable television. I keep trying to imagine what the pitch meeting between the network and the producer of the newest incarnation, Syfy's "Deep South Paranormal" was like....
