My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm the kind of guy that my friends trust with their lives, their loves, and their secrets. I'm the one they call when it's time to hide the bodies and the one they call when it's time to fend off the zombie hordes. Or, you know, just hang out, have some laughs and some good conversation.

I've got a lot to offer and I'm looking for someone who appreciates the honesty, intelligence, humor and character that I offer and that I can share life's grand and not so grand experiences with. Someone to help out when fending off the zombies becomes boring and tedious, and to help carry the shovel when called for. Or, you know, just hang out and watch a mindless movie with some stove-top popped popcorn slathered in butter on a rainy night. Whatever.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a consultant that often travels for work. Right now I'm traveling - just not very far. I own a home in Auburn Hills but spend more days at a corporate apartment in Lansing for work.

I live my life on a pretty constant quest for self improvement and most weekday evenings, especially when I have nothing else going on, I'll be at the gym after work and usually be making progress on the latest book I'm reading before bed.

But that's the routine. There's so much more that I do and like to do that isn't quite that boring. You may need to ask me about it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
1) Knowing random things.
2) Making people laugh.
3) Lifting heavy things.
4) Putting down heavy things. (I'm better at that than I am at picking them, up, honestly.)
5) Mixing drinks
6) Cooking
7) Defeating evil ninjas

I haven't had anything other than rabbit ears for television in more than a year. What little "television" I watch is on Hulu or Amazon Prime. Though, the whole reason I have rabbit ears at all is to watch the Lions play when I'm not at the game. I'm not a fanatic by any stretch, but if I have no plans on a Sunday, I'll watch the boys in Honolulu blue and sliver play.

I read. A lot. 50+ books a year for pretty much my entire adult life. I still own most of them. I've got too many favorites for easy listing here.

Music - I'm all over the place. Just don't try and make me like opera. It doesn't work. People have tried. They sent ninjas. It didn't end well for the ninjas. It never ends well for the ninjas.

I'm also a foodie. I'm a reasonably good cook, though I hate cooking for one, and appreciate dining out at good hole in the walls and fine dining establishments. I've had the fortune to have had some truly amazing food experiences along the way. I'm also an amateur mixologist (aka alchemist) and can guide you through the creation of quality cocktails. I'm not super educated on wine, though I am willing to learn.

Having a 7th thing that I could never do without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Let's just say I spend a lot of time thinking, sometimes to the point of over thinking. The best woman will both accept and moderate that tendency.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on the Friday. It could be a baseball game, at dinner, hanging with friends, playing video games because my friends are lame and don't want to hang out and it's not baseball season, at a concert, at the movies... honestly just about anything normal people do.
