I am a gamer, a geek, and a baker.
My Self-Summary
I've been told I'm slightly odd, but always followed by "in a good
way". Most recently by people at work who think it's odd I know so
much about a company I cant STAND to work for... But it's a
paycheck so I'm happy for the moment
I know a lot about a lot of things, but am a master of none; a true
Jack-Of-All-Trades. I like to learn and spend vst amounts of time
just reading and researching.
I have random obessions with
Penguins,
Pirates, and
Zombies. Two fo the three I have
immortalized in tattoo form on my body (stuffed penguin on my left
forearm and a pair of pirate
mermen lounging in wreakage of a treasure
galleon on my left
shin), the third will appear soon... just need to develop the cash,
since my tattoo artist enjoys it so much. What would be perfect
would be my own pirate ship full of zombie penguins at my
command... they'd be soo cute :D
d20 system games are the shit. My dad got me into AD&D at a
young age and I've latched on. Yes, I am one of those high fantasy,
Tolkin-reading, DND-playing nerds. I don't LARP though.... and the
closest I have come to dressing up for a game is wearing my pirate
tee shirt and a tricon. It helps that, yes, I was playing a pirate
character and was fully plastered on Captain and Cherrwine.
When it's not pen and paper, pixels take up my outlet for a game
fix. I sold my soul to Sony for Tomb Raider. I have all games for
PSX-PS3. Notibles in my collection:
Pokemon R,Y,B,S,G &C
Every Zelda
Harvest Moon IoH for the DS
Both Assassin's Creeds
Fable TLC (and Fable II should it come to PC)
ResEvil
and Burn Zombie Burn
...just to name a few :) I enjoys the games
When I find time, I have a a tendancy to create. I've been doodling
since I could hold a crayon (and have almost everything I've done
thanks to my mom). I almost when to school for art, but decided
ganst it since I can't pin down one aspect I would want to devote a
degree to. I do almost everthing.... I say almost everything as I
have yet to try glassblowing. If ever given the oppertunity, I'd
jump on that in a heartbeat. I've taken to Sculpey recently... and
jewelery making is back on the upswing. Select projects can be seen
on my facebook.
I have an on/off relationship with Tarot and Palmistry. Studied for
years, however there are major gaps in between practice and
relearning everything. Back to reading up once more and expanding
to runes.
I can also be found on the book of face with /PenguinsRoll20s
99.9% of the time, you can find me on gtalk/aim at this screen
name.... though I tend to be in ninja mode hiding from colleagues
What I’m doing with my life
Right now: working customer support and searching for something
new...
If given the chance I'd definitely do one (or more) of the
following:
~Own and operate my own hookah bar
~Zoo Keeper
~Pirate
~Librarian
~Archeologist
I’m really good at
Randomness? Feels like a resume now :)
The first things people usually notice about me
Generally, my hair colour.... It changes often enough and I get the
most compliments on it. This is most likely followed by comments on
my glasses. I don't know why, but people love to bring up the fact
that they're big and "coke-bottle"-ish.
I also hear that I have "hobbit feet"... I feel like lack the vast
amount of hair on the top of my feet and the callouses to validate
that statement
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I gravitate to "odd" sounding female vocalists, including, but not
limited to:
-Tori Amos
-Fallon Bowman/Amphibious Assault
-Brody Dalle/Distillers & Spinnerette

-Shirley Manson/Garbage

Buffy, Mythbusters, Dante's Cove, The Lair, Dr. Who, Torchwood
(before Season 3), Being Human, Big Bang Theory, Dexter, American
Dad, Merlin, Six Feet Under, Modern Family, So Weird, Demons, Yu Yu
Hakusho... I have a tendency to download every episode of a show,
watch it in marathon mode, then pick a new show to repeat the
process.
Favorite Movies:

trasher, the better. They're hysterical
Italian food is the way to my stomach :D
I'm also fond of authentic Japanese and Mexican
I like to try new things so I'm pretty open. I also like to cook
and will invent things all over again when I'm bored
The six things I could never do without
1. Friends/Family
2. Zune (iPod be damned!)
3. My iPAQ Glisten
4. Laptop/Internets
5. PS3
6. Good Wine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Anything and everything... I also have ADD so keeping track of my
thought patterns gets a bit hard
Like recently, I've been thinking a lot about becoming a pirate and
how I'd rock the 7 seas in my awesome Spanish treasure galleon
replica, though it would be made of metal or something less high
maintenance than wood.
It would have the fastest connection to the internets since more
bandwidth is in the Atlantic Ocean than in the entire US (no
joke... it's used to send and receive data from unmanned subs and
stuff) and would be run with my crusty crew of zombies... and
penguins.. gotta have the penguins. I'd perfect my own rum
recipe...
Or about how awesome tech gets each day... like this 10 micrometer
thick piece of "film" they unveiled in Spain that can turn any
surface into a 16-multi touch screen, up to 120"x120" (which would
totally line the halls of my ship, btw)... that's cool, and I hate
hate touchscreens.
I also think about my answers to my own questions and go "WTF how
did I think that?" cuz I come up with a million reasons and ways
things can an are.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sadly, at work. If, by some random happenstance, I'm not working, I
like hanging out with friends, smoking hookah, playing rummikub or
DnD. Honestly, I'd rather hang out with a group of friends than go
out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I think Librarians are sexy
I hate shoes
You should message me if
...you like Pirates, Zombies, Monster Movies, Penguins and complete
randomness. Decent taste in music wouldn't be bad either.
Geeky/Dorky is a plus.
