My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Alright, I'm just going to rattle off some factoids about yours truly:

- I'm politically a lefty. Pro choice, gun control, feminism, raising the minimum wage, and holding the police accountable for their actions.

- I love cats. I've loved them my whole life, which predates the internet. I also love dogs, but my asthma makes them physically unbearable.

- I love geeky things. Batman, Doctor Who, Neil Gaiman, and so on.

- I love metal, but more the classic sort like Dio, Iron Maiden, and the first so many Metallica albums.

…okay, I'll add more.

I'm in my mid-30s and I don't have the time or patience to dick around with the singles scene, wherever it may be. I'm looking for a WOMAN. Not a lifestyle accessory. So if you're an adult and you want to cut the crap and talk to another honest-to-Cthulhu adult, I fit the bill.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a CNA. I like taking care of people, whether I'm doing my job or babysitting my nieces. I'm taking classes so that I can be an LPN or RN. I have a BA in music, but that's not much of a career path, so I went into nursing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I play the guitar pretty well. I used to teach kids how to play. I also make a pretty good mushroom risotto and tomato pasta sauce. And I know the streets of Chicago better than many.

If you're a grammar nerd, hopefully you can tell by now that I can write and spell properly.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my glasses. When I take them off, I kinda look like Luke Skywalker.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my guitar
my cat
air
internet access
water
various vital organs
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics in our country, what to eat for lunch, if I could reasonably live comfortably in the 15th Century or so, goofy thoughts like the hilarity of seeing a wedding cake with Lovecraftian wedding cake toppers, and naturally, that awkward moment from years ago when I made an ass of myself. We all do it, don't deny it!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't know anymore. Sometimes I work and sometimes I have the night off. If I'm off, I might get out of the house and head to the city or just stay home and relax. Having a car means I can head into town on a whim. Even so, the idea of "The Weekend" is kind of meaningless to me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I never learned to like my vegetables :-\. If you're vegetarian, I promise to not take you to a barbecue restaurant or steak house.
