My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'll start with the make-or-break-it details. I am:

-an agnostic/atheist

-a bleeding heart liberal and feminist

-a meat eater

-a participant in the BDSM lifestyle, at least a little bit

Still with me? Goody. I'm an introverted geek person who is perfectly happy staying in to watch Doctor Who, play a video game now and then (I don't do WoW or Starcraft, for what it's worth), or watch an old movie. I'm partial to the old horror and sci-fi films from before I was born.

I love a good beer. I like my IPAs, stouts, ambers, and anything else that's just really good. I'm kind of building my palate for bourbon, but that's not easy to drink!

I like being silly and if I know my present company can handle it, I like off-color humor. I know it's not for everyone, so I leave it alone until I know it's safe.

Finally, I don't like talking about myself too much. I'll do it here because it's expected, but I hate when people start most of their sentences with "I'm..." like you're the star of some rom-com. The world does not revolve around me, and it does not revolve around you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a CNA in a nursing home. I work the night shift. It's arguably one of the hardest jobs anyone could work, but it's really rewarding. I aim to take more classes and eventually become an RN or something.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a pretty good guitarist, but I don't think I'm hot shit or anything. I'm pretty good at teaching kids how to play. I also make a pretty good mushroom risotto and tomato pasta sauce. And I know the streets of Chicago better than many.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not tall and I only have two legs.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
politics in our country, what to eat for lunch, if I could reasonably live comfortably in the 15th Century or so, the hilarity of seeing a wedding cake with Lovecraftian wedding cake toppers, and naturally, that awkward moment from years ago when I made an ass of myself. We all do it, don't deny it!

I have a shattered elbow. Which isn't really private, but it is a fun fact.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're not Republican, you're not very religious, and you can laugh at a dirty joke.

I'm looking for a girl who's comfortable going to a dive in jeans and getting a beer or who might stay home and watch a samurai movie.

It also helps if you're looking to be with a person and not an accessory to a lifestyle.
