I am W, O, and O.

My Self-Summary

Hmm...I think every other question touches on most things about me, but I guess I should add that I'm kind and I'm a goof. And although I take no responsibility for creating this absurd word, I'm pretty sure the term "metrosexual" was coined because of me.

What I’m doing with my life

Professionally, I'm a graphic designer. Hobby-wise, I make an assortment of music.

I’m really good at

I'm really good at editing the various things I create.

The first things people usually notice about me

"Your eyes are very blue when you take your glasses off."

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't read enough novels, and tend to read design-related books, so I know my novel selections may be rather predictable. I don't watch enough movies at all anymore, but used to watch plenty of good ones and way too many bad ones. I like music a whole bunch. Food-wise, I'm a non-preachy vegetarian who loves to cook all sorts of things whether or not they've ever been mixed together before.

More specifically, though (and these are difficult things to narrow down!)...

Authors: Banana Yoshimoto, John Steinbeck, A. A. Milne, Albert Camus.

Movies: Buffalo 66, Punch Drunk Love, Royal Tenenbaums, 24 Hour Party People, Best In Show.

Music: T. Rex, Curtis Mayfield, the Kinks, Guided By Voices, Ariel Pink, Bob Dylan, Sufjan Stevens, Smog, Palace/Will Oldham/Bonnie Prince Billy, Sly and the Family Stone, Dexy's Midnight Runners, various Swedish indie pop.

Food...let's talk ingredients: anice, potatoes, sumac, arugula, sesame oil, summer savory, rosemary, Jameson.

I have a food blog I started and forgot about but will hopefully return to this winter and several Myspace Music pages... ask if you're interested!

The six things I could never do without

Good friends, good music, good food, good surroundings, good family (including kitties), good paper.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Yesterday as it relates to tomorrow.
