My self-summary
I could write a lot of stuff here. Ugh, where to start? Just message me if you have any questions... there's plenty of details below, ha!

OKAY, so I have finally put pictures up. Whatever, the fact that I had to reactivate facebook to stalk my friends' picture sections was annoying enough of a task... but yeah, I dont have any of myself in a mirror. (except the santa one.. but that doesn't count.) Sorry, I just feel like a complete D-bag while attempting to take those. Unfortunately for you, my shirt is on in all of them as well, but trust me, I look like a younger version of Brad Pitt under those garments. That's sarcasm. And I'm really ticked that they limit you to 10!!?!?! WTH, I had 15 picked out. I'm gonna be really skeeved if one of the 5 left out was one that would have attracted my future ex-wife.
What I’m doing with my life
I don't feel like typing it out. Is that weird? Does that mean I'm not satisfied with my life? Neither, but I'm successful (I've arrived at where I wanted to be, but now I'm interested in getting somewhere further). I spent 8.5 years at Duquesne University and learned about as much as my brain could in that timespan. I have one job, and I'm waiting on another one that's better! Other than that... I move often, just never out of the northern Pittsburgh area. 6 moves in last 6 years... Been in 2 one-bedroom apartments, a house, a townhouse, a 2 bedroom patio home, and now a 1 bedroom apartment again (with a garage to store basically 2 bedrooms worth of furniture and boxes, ugh.) Don't ask, its complicated...
I’m really good at
Talking, and I THINK listening. Sometimes I catch myself, though. Conversation needs to be balanced, not just two separate monologues (is that spelled right? Too lazy to google it...), or else what's the point, unless you're venting.

Also, I take after my dad in that I resolve arguments quickly...

I take after my mom in that... I guess I don't really take after my mom at all.

I grew up being in love with basketball and football, but had 3 knee surgeries in 4 years during college that sorta' halted a lot of that sort of physical activity, however its been a few years since my last rehab and I've enjoyed getting back into the competition of pickup games with my friends. I've been told that I remind people of Hines Ward because I'm always smiling and laughing on the court.

Nutrition... while I will destroy my diet by plowing through 50 chicken wings in one sitting when I'm in a situation that calls for that kind of gluttony, 85% of my meals are about as planned out and perfectly balanced as could possibly be. I grew up being close friends with some of the best high school wrestlers in the country, and their eating and training habits definitely rubbed off on me. Sadly, I am not a physical freak of nature and do not have any six-pack abs to show off. Happily, I don't care about being in perfect shape, although being in good-to-great shape and feeling good physically is something I do care about quite a bit.

Understanding, or at least caring to TRY to understand why people are the way they are... along with realizing the importance and beauty of diversity in the world, physically and with regard to personality.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm laughing at something, and my laugh can be annoying I bet. :( Or my eyes, they're the kind of blue that gets darker in the winter and lighter in the summer. Note to self: suggest this color to Crayola for their new line of crayons.

The other day a woman at work told me I had really white teeth? They are just average, IMO, and I'm pretty sure it was the lighting in the room. I've never had a cavity, but I'm surely not a guy who gets his teeth whitened.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Everything by Michael Chrichton, Dan Brown, and a recent infatuation with short stories written by Elmore Leonard.

Movies - Everything, literally. Star Wars, Garden State, Armageddon, The Matrix, The Ring, Rocky, The Hurt Locker. Think those are boring Hollywood garbage? I've probably seen and loved a lesser known movie that you can name as well. My favorite comedies are probably the Ameican Pie movies, for the lone fact that they came out when I was graduating high school and through early college.

Shows - Well apart from TV shows, I was obsessed with the play, "Cats" growing up. I still could sing most of the soundtrack if I had to... but not many people know that.

TV - The Office, Justified, Always Sunny, Eastbound and Down, The Walking Dead, The League, ATHF (if you dont know what that is, don't ask... you'll probably think its dumb). Those are my recent favorites, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few. Growing up, it was all MacGyver, all the time, baby.

Music- Everything. I mean, I'm sorry I can't narrow it down, but if you looked at my ipod, you would be surprised. For example: Mariah Carey (older stuff mostly), Metallica, older rap, Garth Brooks, soundtracks from all kinds of movies, and even SOME lady gaga and usher because heck, that music can be addicting. Also a Christian band called Red, because they sound a lot like Linkin Park back before they turned all artsy-fartsy on me.

Food - I love a LOT of foods, so instead, I'll list what I don't like. Dressing (Ranch included...gross), tomatoes, mayonnaise, eggs made certain ways, and mushrooms. I would kill for chicken wings though. They're my weakness and I love Fatheads, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Quaker Steak with a passion. I'll end there because I'm pretty sure that this text box has a 1,000,000 character limit.
The six things I could never do without
I mean I love my phone, but I could do without it... hmm. Maybeee....
1) Hot and BBQ sauce
2) Air Conditioning
3) General Tso's chicken
4) The Steelers... AND the Pirates
5) My mom/friends
6) Prayer because I'd be one miserable atheist
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Ha! Terrible question... I think a lot. Sometimes I wonder about the idea of a soul. Hard to wrap my brain around, the separation between life with a soul and life without. Also about how different styles and colors of shoes match the rest of my outfit. Riveting, right?

Also, will I eventually get married? I'm sure everyone thinks that at some point, however, I really feel like my question is more valid. I feel like because I was an only child and learned to be content by myself, that I could actually pull off a happy life without a spouse. Do I want that??? NO. Of course I want to fall in love and yada-dada, but I'm just sayin'... if anybody could be not miserable being destined to be alone, it just might be me.
On a typical Friday night I am
I enjoy going out, but really did a lot of that since I turned 21, so attempting to tone it down a shmidge recently. Can't party forever, you know? On a Friday, I'm either out somewhere in Cranberry, South Side, here at my place relaxing, or at the gym because NOBODY is at Snap Fitnss in Mars at 10 PM on friday nights and I love training in solitude.

Two fridays ago I actually spent from 8:00-9:00 pm doing match searches on this site, trying to browse for my LEAST compatible match just so I could message her and prove that opposites attract. I never got a response from Ms. "23% match-30% friend-68% enemy". Can't win 'em all, right?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I slept with a basketball for a lonnngggg time. Ew, fairly germy, now that I look back on it. Don't judge though, I loved the sport.

Oh yeah, and if "mikeg1021" would have been taken as a username, I definitely would have tried "spidercat" as my second choice. That's a joke.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–35
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You want to talk about anything. I see this site more as a social means *high five*, but online dating definitely works as long as there is a friendship first.

If you are NOT a guy posing as a girl. While I've just recently made my first official gay friend and I let him hit on me constantly as he seems to feel the need, it's just not for me.

Orrrr if you want to play jailbreak. I miss being a 5th grader and spending nights doing that. Anybody want to help form a league??
