My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am an Outdoor loving guy who enjoys camping, canoeing and paintball. I try to go camping at least a couple of times a year although I haven't been yet this year. I want to do a lot more canoeing this year as well. I also play video games on occasion and I am pretty fun loving. Friendship is an important thing to me, and I have known my best friend since we were 5 years old. I live on the North Shore and work in the Airline industry, having started at the local airport 10 years ago. I have worked for 3 airlines and left the industry for a short time only to come back to it.

When I watch TV it's usually the History or Discovery channel. (Mostly now it's DVR'D due to my work schedule). For TV shows, Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, Deadliest Catch and Survivorman are regulars as well as American Restoration, Pawn Stars, and anything on the History Channel. (When I'm not watching Phineas and Ferb, Backyardigans, and Spongebob with the kiddies.) World War II is very interesting to me with History being my favorite subject in school. I have a ton of useless knowledge and little tidbits floating around up here. Some of my favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Hunt for Red October, Backdraft (I am a former firefighter-best job in the world in my opinion). Some Recent movies I like are Sherlock Holmes and Law Abiding Citizen.

I listen to alot of music, like Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews, Tom Petty, etc. I have a pretty broad love of music. I can listen to just about anything and enjoy it. I am learning how to play the guitar, and a few of my friends are also playing instruments. We've started getting together to play and it's pretty fun. (Update: my current work schedule has caused me to miss more than a few practices with the band.)

I love kids, and I do have children from a previous marriage.

I am fun loving, adventurous, and happy!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in the Airline industry and I also have a few side-projects going on as well working with computers. I try to get outdoors as much as I can. I love camping and canoeing, and enjoy the quiet of nature at times, as well as listening to ocean waves crashing on shore. I definitely also love laying out and looking up at the stars. I lived in Montana for a few years, and there is nothing like staring up at the night sky with no lights marring the view and seeing every star in the Milky Way shining down.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh. I have a good sense of humor and can usually keep my friends laughing when we hang out. I'm also pretty good at figuring out how to fix things that may not be working quite right, and I have a gift for assembling things that have a billion pieces to them.
The first things people usually notice about me

That I usually have a smile on my face. I like to think positive, and it helps if you smile a lot. As least that's my opinion....I really have no idea what people notice about me LOL.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like to read Tom Clancy books, as well as Science Fiction/Fantasy novels as well. I also like reading about computers and history. I like all kinds of food, and am usually willing to try new things.

I also like playing board games. Monopoly, Scene it, Scrabble, and card games are alot of fun and tend to make a night at home more exciting. I also play Texas hold Em.

A good night spent with friends playing a game or two makes for some good memories.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family and friends, my computer, Ipod, a few books to read, a board game or two, and my cell phone. Food, water, facilities, Oxygen, etc are all given.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life and everything about it. My mind can wander sometimes, so you'll never know if I'm in a daze thinking about canoeing or about the show I saw on the Discovery Channel. Sometimes I just completely zone out and go into "sleep mode" where I can be totally oblivious to everything around's a trip lol.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Lately it's been working the late shift.....
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I had a recurring nightmare about giant rolls of toilet paper when I was younger. You have no idea how freaky this can be. Maybe I'll tell you about it sometime.....
