I am straightforward, interesting, and real.

My Self-Summary

After a few years in San Diego, I accepted a new job and I just moved to Redondo Beach. Very much the same the spring-like weather in the middle of winter... Not counting El Nino years like 2010.
It's not too easy to write about yourself, and it can get pretty boring to read. Her we go, anyway: I like to meet new people, the outdoors in general, to travel and to explore places, and occasionally to go dancing.
Being Italian, I enjoy cooking as it's both relaxing and rewarding when people appreciate, and it often happens :)
To me everyday is time to widen your horizon, learn and teach from and to everyone.

What I’m doing with my life

While I am passionate about my work as a designer in the electronics field, my job doesn't define me as a person. So I only talk about it when asked, knowing too well that it's not that easy to exactly explain my line of work.
Weekend roadtrips are the best especially if decided at the last minute. As you may expect, I very much enjoy driving for fun on weekends or whenever.
On occasion, usually while visiting my family, I enjoy riding sportbikes.
Another interest of mine is photography. From time to time, I especially like taking portraits of people and animals, but landscapes can be very interesting too. Even capturing the ocean waves in their forming and foaming can give its rewards.
This summer, I drove to Yellowstone NP with a friend, and I took some amazing pictures (if I can say it myself) of that incredibly diverse and awesome place!

I’m really good at

Cooking: my apple cake is famous among my friends
DIY kind of things
taking pictures
computer stuff
talking about everything and anything

The first things people usually notice about me

It depends, my green eyes, the fact that I am thin.
People say I am a good listener.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

The list would take a while... Guess it really depends on the situation. But in general, my preference goes to essays rather than novels in the books department.
While not really a movie buff, I enjoy watching some comedies and adventure movies. Recently, I liked Moon (a SF movie with no vampires in it) and on a lighter note My Best Friend's Girl.
On TV, my favorite are definitely sitcoms. Reality TV is not real at all and it's pretty boring to me.
My favorite music is usually rock and some pop. Dance music is fine for clubbing, but not really for listening.
About food, I am a bit partial to truly authentic Italian food. For my daily meals, healthy and organic food in general scores high in my book.

The six things I could never do without

Never is such a strong word, but at the moment my list, in no particular order and not including people since they aren't things, is:
- the internet
- cars
- music
- being out of debt (financial freedom)
- hiking
- cooking

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Many different people and things. It really depends.

On a typical Friday night I am

Out with friends, chilling at home maybe Okcupidding, or, my personal favorite, on a roadtrip somewhere new.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I may need encouragement to try new food and dishes.

You should message me if

You like to start a conversation and to get to know each other. Messages are fine for starters, but our goal has to meet in real life! You living within a couple of hours driving distance from Redondo Beach would make it much easier.
