My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Down for coffee, beers, conversation and whatever. Meeting new people is fun even if it doesn't "go anywhere".

I'm kind of a half-geeky, half-dead-serious dude with a lot of varied interests and I try really hard to live haphazardly but it doesn't always work.
You're clicking the 'like' button at this point because that was #deep, am I right? Of course I am. Let's continue.

Because I can't just specialize in one thing, at times I'm a writer, spiritualist, gamer, general nerd of various fandoms, healer, philosopher, poet, student, part-time traveler, someday-scientist, sometime-office worker and all-star lover. I'm financially (and emotionally) stable. I have a great head of hair and a winning smile. I work out. I'm literally perfect in every way, which is why you were about to message me right now, but hold up a second! You haven't even finished the summary.

Yeah, so, my sense of humor is really dry. Not 'sarcastic' per se, I mean I will just say crap that sounds serious and people will think I'm serious and I won't correct them because that would spoil the joke that nobody got in the first place. But people still laugh along. It's why I'm popular with everyone and everything I do is cool.

I recently decided to live forever, because last weekend somebody told me that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. This weekend I set my mind to a lot of really good pub food, and that totally happened, so I am a believer. That's just how science works.

Still here? What, this sounds like your cup of tea? I mean, I don't blame you, I'd also message me and add me to favorites and be writing a preemptive introduction letter just in case. But come on, let's talk about you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Seeking out new experiences to grow and expand what I am. That means traveling whenever and wherever I can (but I do it on my own dime so it's a slow business).

I take classes in things like acting, languages, various martial arts... whatever seems interesting just then, because life is short and money is vast (or is that the other way around?).

Also I'm studying to be a spiritual healer. That's exactly as weird as it sounds, and I'm totally serious.

I write music, some of which I may very well actually record someday, and I also write sci-fi/fantasy stories but I haven't finished any of them. If you're a persistent and annoying person who likes reading unfinished stories, please become my friend so you can un-writer's-block me every weekend or so.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking (sometimes), everything to do with computers, holding space (sometimes), acting, studying languages long enough to sound good, writing, organizing, setting up pop-up tents in less than five minutes, wearing the wrong clothing for the season, sweeping people off their feet.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The radiant glow of my face.

I like art that makes me feel stuff, and also art that makes me think.

Books: Frank Herbert's Dune series; anything by Jules Verne, H.G. Wells or Victor Hugo; Hunger Games trilogy, Harry Potter, most things by Neil Gaiman, ASoIaF, Novels of The Change by S.M. Stirling. I got out of the reading habit for a long time and now I'm slowly getting back into it.

Shows: Doctor Who, Adventure Time, Avatar... actually let's just list genres: Sci-Fi, well-acted British dramas, good kids' cartoons, some animes. I will watch almost anything if I'm bored/drunk/high enough.

Music: David Bowie, the entire genre of Post-Rock, basically everything. You know more bands than I do. If you ever tire of me being better than everyone at everything then ask me to name some bands.

Food: Thai or Vietnamese, good Diner food, anyone's home cooking. Sushi, because I'm a goddamn hipster.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Words and the spaces between them
Dogs and other cool animals
Humans and other cool animals (is this redundant?)
Hashtags
Pubs within walking distance
Nature
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to fix various types of shit.

How to become a multimillionaire so I can spend all my time traveling.

Why I'm not a multimillionaire yet. I mean, my parents told me I was really smart, so what gives?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Definitely either drinking beers with friends, doing shots with the TV, basking in the despair of my enemies, or sitting alone in the woods communing with the land.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll try anything twice.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
We'll get along if you like talking, honestly. Travels, experiences, TV shows, RPGs, perspectives, world-building, people, life in general. Whatever.

Also, if you're an energy-aware person, or at least open-minded/curious about it, we can chat about that too.
