Dearly loves barroom/coffeehouse philosophizing and interpretation. Hung up a bit on politesse (the Southernness). Grew up in rural area; preference perhaps more urban now but with strong doses of the wild thrown in. Deep appreciation of the absurd, of the jarringly eclectic. Individualistic, yet preoccupied with community and sociability. Wry. Sometimes too serious (as manifested here), yet ever ready to laugh at myself.
