I'm half Swedish and half South African, which are as far apart
temperamentally as they are geographically. I fend off any kind of
identity crisis by reminding myself that despite everything,
they're in the same time zone.
Meanwhile, here in New York, I spend my days at a magazine, walking
the line between advertising and journalism, writing some things
when I have to and others when I have time.
Generally, I'd rather be writing, listening to music, or drinking
with a few friends in a dimly lit room wondering when the robots
will take over.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to find a balance between ambition, imagination and reality.
I’m really good at
Puns. Metaphors. Exploring. Ikea. Optimism.

The six things I could never do without
Bodies of water
I spend a lot of time thinking about
everything virtual reality is going to do to real reality.
On a typical Friday night I am
with a beer and friends in a place where we can sit, unless there's
a band playing, in which case I'm happy to stand.
