I am in marketing and am still not sure what kind of opening line would get someone's attention here. I do appreciate those few unique individuals who don't take life too seriously and have a sense of humor. These are the people I am able to connect with and would like to be around.

Me: restless, analytical, and opinionated. I am not offended by a dirty joke-and can share a few of my own. I am independent but far from being a feminist. Sarcasm is a spice of life and I can hang with the best of them. Timeless books and movies that make you wonder for days about whose side you are on are a staple in my queue. I am a happy person who is confident and comfortable with who I am.

I work at a job that challenges me every day-in a variety of ways whether it be intellectually or my blood pressure. I enjoy following politics and am civically active in the community. I also like to go to new restaurants and finding what's new in town.

I am really good at laughing and listening. I enjoy solving problems, both small (like crossword puzzles) and large (like voter education or whether or not my sister should invest in the new skinny jeans trend). I am a pretty decent cook and enjoy reading and listening to music.

I am pretty tall, so I kind of stick out. I have a unique laugh that I employ liberally.

Mark Twain is my favorite author; I'm currently reading a book of his short stories. I like all kinds of magazines, both for serious reading and passing time. My musical tastes run the gamut, but I especially enjoy jazz, indie rock, classical and folk. Brooks and Dunn are out of the question.

I enjoy all kinds of food, and like to try new things, but I don't eat a lot of meat and tend to keep things on the healthy side.

Oatmeal(seriously, I eat it every day), my laptop, my library card, coffee, wine, news of some kind.

What I want out of life, and what I can give back.

At a bar hanging out with friends. I like to hang out with my sister, or stay at home and watch tv. Although not a weekly occurence, I do enjoy the occasional board game.

I'm a nerd. A really big nerd.
