i've been on here to read my mail and have a look around, but right now
i'm not really talking with anyone. just haven't felt up to it. actually i think it's more a matter of me needing to reconnect with myself. but feel free to keep sending me messages! ..just know i probably won't respond.

i may seem a bit shy and reserved when i first meet someone, but once i get to know you the wall comes down and the queen of kookiness emerges!
i love acting silly and my sense of humor can be quite dry and sarcastic at times..i have a propensity for making jokes and remarks that are often considered lewd, but i also know how and when to behave myself.
if i offend you it's never on purpose!..well, almost never. ;P

i'm a fairly independent person, but i still love to give and be given attention. i've noticed there is a lot of people in l.a. that put forth this "cool indifferent" exterior towards the people they're dating. even though i'm not completely innocent of this and have found myself playing along at times, i find this game maddening and i really can't stand it. i like to know if a person is interested in me and not just stringing me along.

i have a real hunger for adventure, but sometimes my nervous nature gets in the way of taking risks. what i'd really like is to find someone who can bring out the explorer in me and help me to cut loose at times.

i'm extremely loyal to my friends, family and lovers, and simply ask for the same in exchange. i'm a hard worker and i do not give up that easily!!
i'm a huge animal lover and i do have a cat.. so liking animals is a must. otherwise it's pretty much a moot point.

i love music, laughing, spooning my asthmatic cat molly, photography, cooking/baking, making monsters, crossword puzzles, going on adventures, wrestling, leap frog, socializing, skateboarding, good food, outdoor activity, indoor activity, yahtzee, macaroni art, running with scissors, you name it!

*no "pussy scavengers" please! just to be completely clear..i am NOT on here looking for sex. what i'd really like is to meet a man that knows what he wants out of life and is secure enough to go for it. someone who has a full appreciation for what he's been blessed with, and tries at all costs to avoid taking anything for granted. he'll be my best friend with whom i have mutual support and understanding, as well as the person i share the most laughs with..and ultimately, someone who isn't afraid of falling head over heels in love..

i formerly worked as a special make-up and fx artist for a few years. i loved the craft but work was hard to come by..currently i am working in a dental lab making teeth. i love it!!!

i was a photo major in college, and loved being in the darkroom. not having access to one after i graduated, the thrill in picture taking was lost. since then i've picked up a digital camera and have rediscovered the joy experimenting in photo shop..

i don't know that i'd go as far as saying i'm really good at it..but it's a fun hobby and i sure do enjoy it!!

instead of naming six generic items i can supposedly never do without.. i've composed a list of:

** some of my favorite things** (in no particular order) :) ..foggy days, pumpkin spice lattes with whipped cream, disneyland, cozying up under the covers with the air condition on, white noise (the hum from a vacuum, dishwasher, etc.), chills, darkrooms, hotel rooms, taking my best friend's dog to the park at 1am and watching him play, dancing until my legs give out, poppyseed cake, sunsets and harvest moons, the beach at night, making love first thing in the morning, greece, ghost stories, tight hugs and soft lips, sneezing with full force, making up new words, the numbers 1, 3, 4, 6,& 9 (although 5 is slowly starting to win me over), sharing secrets, finding a favorite new band or album, green rolling hills with blue skies, swingsets and trampolines, hot tubs in the rain, romance and passion, IT'S IT! ice cream treats, love letters, santa cruz and san francisco, long bike rides up the coast, dusk, having a good laugh and/or cry, snuggles (no, not the creepy bear), the frozen food aisle at the grocery store, red bean pastries, the feeling of accomplishment..

wayy too much going on in this brain to summarize.

it would be nice to find someone who's looking for the same qualities i find important in a relationship...some of those being honesty, security, consistency, passion, fidelity, and a true sense of humor. if ya got that then go for it!! :)
