My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a replanted seed in Kansas trying to get to know more people. I am often accused of being anti-social but that's not totally true, I am just cautious. I prefer to discuss things that truly matter in the big picture. My interests lean toward all things odd, different and off the beaten path. If you are a vanilla type of girl, you're definitely NOT for me. I'm a DJ by love, not by money, so I slave to the grind of other mundane jobs that are far worse/better than they could be at this day and age. I do dance as much as I possibly can, but in the shopping mart I find it best. If this is starting to make sense, then you're a step ahead of me and we should probably see if you can help me make sense out of it.

I am ecclectic, sarcastic, and intelligent
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working on remixing (I always have beats running through my head - if you're the type of girl who finds music while listening to the simple tumble of a dryer, we should talk most definitely!).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Picking music debates, DJing, writing but not spelling right, listening and learning, diving head first into situations I shouldn't have been in to begin with, and making no sense in my daily process. On the constant quest to find the holy grail of music, the perfect vocal/beat that will shake me down to the core and cause cerebral hemorrhage.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm tall and soft spoken person that comes off as being a bit of an arse. (see above anti-social disclosure) Once people get to know me, they find out I'm a completely demented spazz that isn't exactly right in the head. Oh wait, thats probably something you shouldn't say about yourself, unless it true of course. I think more of us believe these things about ourselves but are afraid to show them off to others. Let's revel in our weirdness! And as age and bad legs set in, it seems a lot of people notice I look like House, which is by far one of the greater things you could say to me (it goes along with my sarcasm also so maybe I should be an english crank old man....hmmm ponder)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
a. poppy z. brite, true crime, music bio's, Chuck Palahniuk, Joe Hill, and anything else that will warp my mind more than it already is, which is getting rougher and rougher.

b. aragami, old boy, silence of the lambs, gun is loaded, gas/food/lodging, garden state, mpd psycho, most anything tokyo shock related or warped in some way, even though as of late I've been on a documentry kick but all and ever if its left of mainstream, got some substance or will make me laugh til it hurts I probably watch it.

c. diamanda galas, tori amos, bauhaus, godspeed you black emperor, lydia lunch, sleater-kinney, the gossip, neko case, interlace, scarling....you know its gonna be a long list, even though I am forgetful so its actually been a while anyway. I was meaning to update this portion more, but late than never it shall be so this week has been:More girls in a coma, the xx's, civil war, the roots, zola jesus, mazzy star, tool, sleater-kinney/babes in toyland mixture, and one song from awolnation....probably guess it

d. sushi, italian, reese's peanutbutter cups, chocolate, coffee and coffee like substances, greek ...ok I like food from all over so its another long list. But if you know someother places that have killer hummus, good sushi, and overspiced thai then hit me up cause I am hungry hahaha
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my records, my family and friends, my backpack (I need help on minimizing - I've been likened to Ally Sheedy's character in "The Breakfast Club"), my mind's capacity for creativity, my wits which got me out of some rather painful and dark places , my t-shirt collection....
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
music, the general state of social disintegration, which book/cd/video I need to get (it's not unusual for me to have 5 written lists and I just cross'em off as I go)... my family and their state of being. I have a somewhat disjointed life that looks like a stock market exchange portfolio for a dot.com company....erratic. I don't think about the impact of my job/personality/general disposition in the scheme of boring moral mudslingers...or do I?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Trying to find new music live or cd, thinking about what I should do that weekend and calling people I forgot to call that week. Makes me sound like a bit of a home body, which is far from true. I'd rather be dancing but I'm cool with hanging out at home with a special friend and good times. Most people I already know are tied down with home-life and tend to be pretty mundane. I seek chaos and believe in discordia as a valid way of living through life.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hmmm, I guess that I believe everyone I lose is because of my hearing problem.

you like music, wacky conversation, and a desire for something a little less than ordinary.....but not psychotic...want someone to tell you on a slant whats really going on but isn't afraid to be sporatic and spontanious....I have quirks, and I love them...so if you don't mind some one who may at any given time strip off his clothes and run through a fountain in downtown or climb a building just cause it seemed like the right thing to do and the tasty way to do it, then go for it. I promise I don't bite, well at first at least.
