My self-summary
I want to make pancakes and french toast for my woman on Sunday morning. I am looking to share my wonderful life with an amazing woman. I am a hopeless romantic at heart who loves to spoil. I love new adventures and new places. I am an LA native who is committed to always learning/experiencing new aspects of the city. I am a stable, professional, ethical, grounded guy with a great career.. Regularly, I go to poetry readings, art openings, live music, bonsai class, film screenings and I volunteer for an amazing street festival that invites Angelenos to leave their cars and bike the streets. I love to cook up a brand new recipe. I am easy breezy, loving and always upbeat and happy. I dream of a generous, considerate, compassionate partnership. I am looking for someone who will make me a better man.
What I’m doing with my life
I support artists and writers and also mentor teens. I love to go to the theater, bike rides, hiking and gardens. I volunteer for CicLAvia. This is the biggest street festival in LA. You can find out more here:
I’m really good at
loving, finding amazing things to do in the city, making people laugh. I'm good at solving problems and I'm a great listener.
The first things people usually notice about me
I smile often and am very outgoing and will talk to everyone. I am pretty confident and love to get dressed up.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read Nick Flynn, Raymond Carver, James Ellroy, Joan Didion, Dave Eggers, Neruda, Baudelaire. I love hearing new writers and hearing my friends in the LA literary scene read their work. I go to screenings for the films nominated for Oscars. I really loved Amour, Intouchables, Beasts of the Southern Wild. I love finding new places to eat. I primarily listen to all the amazing new music at KCRW. Trixie Whitley, Lianne La Havas, Toro y Moi, Jesse J, Alabama Shakes, Frank Ocean, Jose James, Band of Skulls, James Blake, Wiz Khalifa and Ozomatli. I see a lot of live music every month at Largo, Hotel Cafe, The Echo and Blue Whale.
The six things I could never do without
my family
my friends
my health
my home
my voice
and of course my phone/camera.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Things I want to accomplish, living a long full life, how I can give back to the community I love.
On a typical Friday night I am
at a restaurant I have never tried before. Afterwards I may visit galleries, or go to live music and theater. If we spend time together you are guaranteed to see things and go to places you have never heard of before. I also love to go to the Hollywood Bowl.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a very liberal Democrat. That will tell you plenty about my values.

  • Near me
  • Who are single

You should message me if
If you like this letter:
"Happy Birthday Princess,
We get old and get used to each other. We think alike. We read each others minds. We know what the other wants without asking. Sometimes we irritate each other a little bit. Maybe sometimes take each other for granted. But once in awhile, like today, I meditate on it and realize how lucky I am to share my life with the greatest woman I ever met. You still fascinate and inspire me. You influence me for the better. You're the object of my desire, the #1 Earthly reason for my existence. I love you very much." Johnny Cash to his bride June Carter Cash on her birthday.
(this is the kind of letter I hope to write to you someday.)
