Brand new to the Madison area for work, and I'm trying to
familiarize myself with the area as quickly as I can.
I grew up in frigid northern Wisconsin, and moved out to Arizona
for my MS degree after receiving my BS in Chem, but I'm glad to be
getting back to this area where the weather is more reasonable by
my standards (100 is too damn hot).
Besides relaxing after the workweek, or simply just a long day, I
like to get out and go hiking or mountain biking and I expect the
Wisconsin trails to be a bit more forgiving than those in Tucson,
with the lack of cacti here. I'm a nerd at heart still and enjoy
playing video games with friends, as well as board and card games,
such as Eclipse and Resistance (the game that ends

Working for SAFC out in Verona as my first real world, big boy job
and happy to be employed. Aside from that, I'm figuring out the
Madison city layout while hoping there are some good mountain bike
trails in this area soon as the weather warms up.

I don't watch too much TV these days, but I enjoy the X-Files,
NCIS, Bones, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, or whatever I can find
Nothing beats classic rock and country.
I am a human garbage disposal but have developed cravings for
sushi, arabic food and indian food after I moved to Tucson for
graduate school. I'm always down to try something new, so if you
have any suggestions for good places let me know! Slowly learning
how to cook, trying to limit any and all dairy I consume as recent
food allergies have sprouted up.
