Hello!! My name is Marissa...I am a 30 year old woman, who has a great job, has experienced many once in a lifetime oppurtunities, has a supportive family and wonderful friends - all I am missing is that one person to share all I have to give! I am looking for a man who has goals and aspirations, is family oriented and ultimately wants a family of his own one day. Someone who can enjoy the finer things in life, yet also settle down for a nice movie night in sweats. Someone that will forever make me smile!

I am a very passionate person. I am passionate about my profession, my family, my friends, and the world in general. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve - and while I have gotten hurt a time (or three) because of that - I wouldn't change who I am. I tend to think of myself as someone with a great sense of humor, and I can also be a little sarcastic at times (so have fun tryin' to keep up with me;) I believe it is not where you go in life, but who you are with that really matters. Having said that - I have traveled a lot and it is something I love doing (and do whenever I get the time/extra money). I think you can learn a lot about the world and yourself through traveling.

I am an extremely goal-oriented individual and believe that since this is the only life you get on this earth - you need to make the most of it - and do it with a purpose.

I love to help people - young and old. I also have a very soft spot for animals. I am a very gentle spirit and I always put myself before others. Sometimes, that is a downfall however.

It is imperative that I have a child someday. I just feel I was put on this earth to be a mother. I know I would be a terrific one too. I have spent my life thus far working and giving back to children - they are our future.

I'm really good at making people smile! What makes me most happy? Seeing others I care about smile!
I'm also really good at sleeping, being sarcastic, spending money, cooking (trying my best!), soaking up the sun, making people feel important, procrastinating..the list goes on.
I know when to be serious...but I have a sense of humor that would definitely surprise you!! :)

Physically? My eyes and my smile. I would like to hope that people also notice that I am a genuine person. I tell it like it is. There is no guessing with me. I am honest, loyal and upfront. I try my best to put communication first in a friendship/relationship. So many of them today are lacking these things.

I am an avid reader. I mostly like biographies / memoirs but I enjoy Jodi Picoult books a lot as well. I love comedies, romances, horror, and drama movies. Music - all kinds. Not a huge country fan but I can stomach it. I love R&B and Rap. I learn a lot about myself and others through music. If calories were no option - I love Mexican / Italian food the most. I am branching out and trying new things as well. Who doesn't love food? Come on...

I spend way too much time thinking of my future. I know it's best to live in the present but I cannot help but wonder if I will ever find the one for me, be happily ever after, and have a child/children.

I also spend a lot of time thinking about the world in general. It scares me - the way the world is today. I pray that things could be more positive and productive - less prejudice and poor!!!

Every once in a while I like to have a girls night out at the bar. My friends are very important to me and I think it's crucial for individuals in a relationship to have time both with their friends and alone - as well as together.

But most friday nights - in all honesty...
I am home, with a movie and my couch unwinding after the busy work week!!

I have a few OCD tendencies. I am a true list maker. If you saw my desk at work and at home - you'd think I was a little whacky. But what is normal - right? ;)
