I am terrible at filling out bios... I never know what to write. But here goes nothing. I am a geeky, feminist, idealistic, former Psychology major turned aspiring Pastry Chef. (And I can never figure out a good way to write out that sentence without it reading weird. I worry about grammar probably a little too much.) I enjoy reading, listening to music, and blogging.

I believe devoutly in health at every size, and I will go into a crazed rant about it if something sets me off. (Lots of things will trigger my rant button, actually. That is why I don't read newspapers.) At the moment I'm really into Indie, although that could change at any time. I also enjoy watching movies and sucking at video games. I delight in all things dorky.

I am seriously shy, and terrible at approaching people. However, if you actually think we'd hit it off, message me! I can be very friendly, and if you use proper grammar and have a modicum of wit I will be utterly delighted to talk with you. Here's a hint: ask me something about books.

I know pretty much nothing about pop culture. In fact, if it were possible to know in the negative percents, that's how little I would know. If you have a favorite television show, I've probably never seen it; but I'd be willing to watch it with you. =) I'm open to almost any new experience that isn't illegal or life-threatening, and maybe even to a couple that are.

Going to culinary school in order to become a pastry chef. I intend to make the world a better place through pastry.

In the meantime, I count things for an auditing company. It's the perfect job for an introvert, especially one who generally wants to start disemboweling customers after too many hours working behind a counter. As God is my witness, I will never work retail again!

Working, reading, sleeping, or watching TV. Yes, that *is* very boring. The last place you will find me is at a crowded bar or noisy party. Ugh!

I've been on anti-depressants. If that bothers you, I'm sorry, but I value my health more than the opinion of society.
