My self-summary
I'm a scuba diver, a software performance engineer, an extrovert, and an information sponge. I recently moved to San Francisco because I like noisy, pungent, crowded, and rainy cities. Okay, not the pungent part, but I do like walking in the rain without an umbrella.

I am a dad to an awesome 7 year old girl who is the world to me. I am cherishing the few years I have before I cease being the coolest person in the world.

I feed sharks, little ones with my hands and larger one with a sufficiently long stick. I wrangle Leopard sharks to pull them out for their physicals. And yes, this is an awesome experience that I'm likely to talk about with the enthusiasm of a 3 year old.

This about sums the largest priorities of my life. Besides that, I am very eclectic and won't hesitate to try new things and jump first then read the instruction later.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a job that I love, where I’m allowed to devote a substantial amount of time to drawing pretty graphs and coloring spreadsheet cells. In the few occasions when I'm not immersed in something challenging, I daydream of my next travel destination.

Once a week, I'm a volunteer diver at the Aquarium of the Bay at Fisherman's Wharf. It's really interesting to get a fish's perspective of mammals through the curved glass. It turns out homo sapiens are very awkward organisms, with our inefficient bipedalism and our inability to move unaided on all three dimensional planes.
I’m really good at
* Wrangling Sharks.
* Board games.
* Burns & comebacks.
* Hindsight.
