Your Notes
Edit your notesI am perceptive, deluded, and intrigued.
My Self-Summary
I’ve left phone chargers behind in hotel rooms all around the world. I frequently re-enter my house a minute after leaving it. I often walk in the wrong direction when I leave a store or restaurant. These are issues I’ve been working to improve, and I’ve gotten better over the years, but you will likely find an umbrella or still-warm doggie-bag at a restaurant I just left.
I’ve lived, in chronological order, in Boston, New Jersey, Ann Arbor, Paris, Tel Aviv, Las Vegas, and now Brooklyn. I’m happy to be here and plan to stay for a while.
In my life I have generally focused on things involving words: writing poetry, teaching English as a foreign language, and editing books. Please treat your apostrophes with respect.
Some other things I like are music, strangers, animals, trees, and avocados.
I’m not religious per se but I have personal/sentimental attachments to Judaism and I like the holidays.

Bonus points if your profile does not contain the following phrases:
-"easygoing" or "passionate about life"
(I'm sorry, but who's going to describe him/herself as uptight and bitter about life? Hence the lack of information this actually says about you.)
-"I can't sum myself up in a box"
(Hey, it's not easy, but here you are so shut up and deal with it.)
-"I'm funny"
(A classic case of show-don't-tell.)
