Actually, I am taking a semester off from school to recover from a major surgery. So far this involves alot of cooking, sitting in the garden and listening to music. Hopefully quite soon it will involve some volunteer work, yoga, and making gelato.

Rummikub is my game, which makes up for my dismal showings in Risk and Monopoly.

I really love reading, mostly victorian novels and history books . A few books that I can read over and over again (in no order), Northanger Abbey, The Great Gatsby, The Places In Between, Jane Eyre, Frankenstien, Les Miserables, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Portrait of A Lady.
The Lump of Coal and Ferdinand the Bull are my favorite children's books.
I don't really watch alot of movies but Amelie, Dangerous Liasons, Hot Fuzz, and Love Actually come to mind. Oh and I cannot change the channel when I come across The Mummy or Legally Blonde, movies so bad they are excellent!
I love True Blood, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Dead Like Me, Mercy, The Colony, Chasing Mummies, Community, Sons of Anarchy.
Currently my favorite bands/musical artists are Mumford & Sons, Florence + Machine, Punch Brothers, Ben Folds, Regina Spektor, Andrew Bird, Beirut, Fishtank!, The Eames Era, Etta James, Rooney, Nada Surf, Rufus Wainwright, The Decemberists, Colin Hay, The Coral, Modest Mouse.
The Shins are my go to, never skip on my ipod, play ad naseum choice.
I am also pretty fond of listening to Vampire Weekend, while walking in the snow.
I love Opera, I don't know very much about it, but I adore the melodrama and spirt of it.
I used to be a really picky eater and now I love going out of my way to try new cuisine, I really like Middle Eastern, Italian, and Thai.
