My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. ~M. Monroe [and yes, I mean every word and not because she said it. Or not. I don't know anymore]

I am as bad as the worst, but, thank God, I am as good as the best. (W. Whitman)

there is a loneliness in this world so great
that you can see it in the slow movement of
the hands of a clock... (C. Bukowski)

I never like the part where I have to write about myself. Maybe someday and it'll be a published memoir. But for now... Things people say about me: funny, a little crazy/weird, energetic, fun, loud, positive, quirky, talkative, smart, passionate, bubbly and cute. You be the judge :)

Oh, and I cuss like a (drunken) sailor and a natural born night owl. Consider yourself warned.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to make it in the real world.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking to myself. You'd see me walking the streets of New York mumbling, talking and no phone/earphones in sight. Or maybe memorizing lines. That and procrastinating.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Like I just had a 5-hour energy drink. Or coke. And funny. Haha. Right.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
All time fave book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho {and the majority of his books}, Tuesdays with Morrie {anything from Mitch Albom}, The Shack by WM Paul Young {Read this if you can. Very interesting!}, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Dry, This Is How: Surviving What You Think You Can't, etc.

Movies; too many to remember but I'll try. Forest Gump, Trainspotting, Sliding Doors, Crash, Babel, Taxi Driver, Reality Bites, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Mermaids, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Doubt, The Notebook, 500 days of summer, Little Miss Sunshine, The Accused etc. Like seriously. You want me to go on? Same goes with shows -- too many to mention but Fawlty Towers for the win!

Music, I like the usual mainstream pop, rock, alternative, some classical -- The Killers, Keane, Muse, The Cranberries, Florence and the Machine, etc. I also love electronic music, progressive, trance type. And 80's and 90's for the win!!

Food? E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G edible. I draw the line at bugs and reptiles though.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Love
2. My family
3. My friends
4. The Internet
5. My laptop
6. Money
7. Sambal
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I am going to do first. Or eat. And how strange people are.

Also selfies, Instagram, the world, dick pics and why I'm not getting them. *Please don't send me dick pics. Ever*

Should I take more selfies? Maybe I should. Ehh. No.

Or just thinking about how glorious and successful my future is going to be...

And this:
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Mostly working. Either going home or going out after work, catching up with friends and winding down over food and drinks. Mostly just drinks. Or going to see a play somewhere.... Yeah....
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That it's mind-boggling how lonely people can be...

And that my time management sucks. I will deny this if you ask.

You are kind human beings with patient and open hearts. People who are mature, funny, intelligent, fun and are willing to try new things. Gentle souls who appreciate the arts and humanity, people who mean what they say and say what they mean and deliver -- no bullshit. Basically I'm seeking for amazing human beings! I'd also like to meet more people outside my circle and closer to my age.

"All our young lives we search for someone to love. Someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners. We dance to a song of heartbreak and hope, all the while wondering if somewhere, somehow, there's someone perfect who might be searching for us..." ~The Wonder Years

P.S: I haven't seen The Wonder Years. I came across the quote by random and it just struck a chord.

Oh, and serious inquiries only, please. Thank you.
