I am bombastic, loyal, and pretty much amazing.

My Self-Summary

HEY EVERYONE!!! I'm Heidi a 23 year old born and raised in Kenosha, WI. I went to college at the University of Minnesota for music therapy and now I work as a music therapist at a long term care facility in Milwaukee working with patients with dementa. I am 23 and my birthday is in March.
I am a big fan of roller derby and actually was a ref while I was out living in Pennsylvania. Right now I do stats for the Brewcity Bruisers. I love roller derby because it is fun and exciting and it lets you see hot girls in minimal clothing beating each other up...YES!!!
Music is a huge part of my life because it is my profession and I play lots of instruments and I compose music as well. I wrote the music for a musical and it was just performed in madison in October of 2008. I have started writing more music for myself again so I am hoping that soon I can maybe head to a couple open mic nights. Because of my profession I know and like a lot of different kinds of music. I have songs from every genera that I like and listen to.
I am goofy when I can and serious when I have to be. I am into sci-fi stuff and occult stuff like vampires and witches. I am laid back but I am driven. Yup thats me.

What I’m doing with my life

I am a full time music therapist at a long term care facility in Milwaukee mainly with people with dementia. Starting soon I'm going to be taking some classes so I can apply for Occupational Therapy School. It will take a bit to get the prerequisites done but I am excited to continue forward.

I’m really good at

Being goofy, being loyal, having fun, relaxing, providing random facts, naming the chords as I hear music on the radio, and telling you everything you don't need or want to know about classical music.

The first things people usually notice about me

I think my smile partly because I am almost always smiling, plus I think my eyes because sometimes they really stand out.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Twilight, Harry Potter, The Inner Voice, 1984, Catcher in the Rye, Grapes of Wrath, Three Little Words, Wicked, Lolita

Movies: Amelie, 28 Days Later, Hairspray, God is Great and I am Not, Underworld (all), X-Men, Enchanted, Any James Bond, Chocolat, Edward Scissors Hands, Beetlejuice, LOTR, Harry Potter, Twilight, Rock Horror, Pan's Labaryinth, and tons more.

Music: I don't even know where to start litteraly just about everything. With my job I have worked with every age group so the music is pretty diverse. However, Favs are probably rock, classical and piano rock. Some favorite bands include Meat Loaf, the Love Monkeys, Nickelback, Linkin Park, Metallica, Bruce Springstein, Jackson Browne, Ben Folds, Somthing Corporate, Zeromancer, Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, SKillet, Weird AL, Ellis, Korn, Daughtry, Chris Brown, Invaders, Mighty Might Bosstones, Ari HErstand, Goo Goo Dolls, Bob Seger, Kid Rock, Hinder, Nirvana, Guns n Roses, Van Halen, REO Speedwagon, Queen, Kanye West, TI, Rhianna, and Counting Crows I can continue if you want just ask.

Food: Umm Pizza, Raspberries, Spatzel

The six things I could never do without

Guitar, Piano, Pen, Paper, Family, and loyal true friends

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How I got to where I am and how I am going to get where I am going, and what amazing people I will meet and adventures I'll have on the journey.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging with friends, or working

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Umm I have a slight fear of walking down steps.
