My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Everyone hates filling this part out:
I'm looking for new friends, and hopefully a relationship if I meet the right person. I'm an architect living the dream in New Jersey, that means I work a lot and sometimes even weekends. I love adventures and travel. So if you have a passport I'm ready to go (though places that don't require shots are higher on my list). I do enjoy being active so someone that likes to stay in shape and loves being outside would be awesome. Also I like camping, I don't do it enough but I'm hoping to change that soon.

I'm looking for someone who wants to travel the world with me (you know whenever possible) but also likes to hang out locally. Also I'm kind of a tree hugger, not a hippie. I'm one of those environmentally friendly people, I like recycling ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been studying and taking my state registration exams a requirement for architects that want to design for themselves. Trying to stay in shape, finding awesome places to get sushi, tacos and real Italian food (constant goal in life).
Also good to note I DO NOT follow any sports teams. So if spending your weekends and Monday nights glued to the TV is your idea of a good time then I'm probably not the friend for you.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Video games... okay not really good but I still enjoy trying.
Actually, I'm really good at cooking (swear, no fooling) I'm awesome in the kitchen. And secretly I love to make BBQ (like ribs and chicken and brisket... not burgers and hot dogs) also I make a mean, spicy, sausage chili.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm tall, but some people say my eyes. Mostly just the tall part I think.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Food: Pretty much anything... seriously I'm sort of a closet foodie. I love trying new things.

Books: Don Quixote, Brave New World, In Cold Blood, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance anything Asimov. I haven't read a lot of things for pleasure lately so if you have any recommendations let me know.

Movies: Action (of course), Drama, Indie, Sci-fi, Films with Sub-titles... yes I like reading oh and Stranger Than Fiction changed my life...

Music: Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Tom Petty (with and without the Heartbreakers), The Killers, Five Finger Death Punch, The Who, Atomic Tom, Mumford and Sons, Florence + The Machine, The Band, U2, Rilo Kiley, David Bowie, Damien Rice, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Tom Waits, Everclear, Rage Against the Machine, ZZ Top, Miles Davis, Mississippi John Hurt, Spin Doctors, Steve Miller Band, Van Morrison, Muddy Waters, Pink Floyd, The Allman Brothers, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, The Cars, Steely Dan, Rush, Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, Pete Seger, The Black Keys, Cat Power, Paul Simon.....Rock, Blues, Jazz, R&B, soul, some classical I love all kinds of music and all kinds of venues
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
coffee (total must to start my day)
my car (it is the extension of my soul)
my friends (I'd be lost without them)
sunglasses and being outside: I need sunshine and fresh air.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Vacations I should be taking. I'd really like to get out of the country for a cool trip. Scotland, Japan, Shanghai, Sweden, last year I took a solo trip to Key West Florida, drove all the way down... seriously fun place for a long weekend getaway.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I try to get out: either to the gym, local bars, house bands, cool towns to wander and get dinner you know fun stuff. But honestly a lot of Fridays I find myself home just getting a good movie, or making some BBQ on my grill and inviting some friends over. If you have ideas of places to go, well let me know I love a good recommendation.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Okay so I'm sure there is a lot but:
I don't like the Jersey Shore, there I said it... I dislike it, I always get sun burned and it smells, and there are too many guidos and I have no idea why Snooki is famous. I like nice beaches with blue water even if it takes a plane ride to get there or 5+ hours in the car. That being said I do like going "down the shore" but I can't spend every weekend of the summer down there.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You enjoy bumming around, dancing, having fun, talking for hours, trips to cool museums, being active, hiking, winter, fire pits and really good beer/wine/coffee, oh and awesome sushi and amazing tacos.

Also please let's be honest I'm not here to hurt anyone's feelings but seriously if you're more than 40 lbs. overweight, have kids or over 42 please don't message me. I'm sure you have a great personality and all but I'm very active and I try really hard to keep in shape (this being said I'm not a dick that is looking for a skinny beauty queen. I'm just a guy that likes to be active and would like a partner that can keep up or even put me in my place), plus I'm not really ready to deal with kids (I like them just it's something I'm not looking for right now in my life) and as for the last part I just have to cap it somewhere.
