My name is Zechariah. I'm 23 years old. I am a singer/songwriter, drummer, lover, father,writer, FULL-TIME STUDENT ,creator, destroyer, guitarist, bassist, seeker, leader, and a follower. I am a sophomore/junior at Ole Miss, Majoring in civil, mechanical, or chemical engineering. Not sure yet. I know i want to work with biofuels and alternative energy. We have the brains, resources, and ability now!! but our system of government and economy will not let them flourish!!! ~~ sorry, i get excited sometimes~~ I absolutely LOVE music. On stage, when i'm behind the drums, i sometimes use stage names just because its retarded. such as: [Dr. Thunder],[animal] , and [the funk house] .I also love my son , who is just beginning his journey through life; he's almost a year old now and I'm sure every parent feels this way, But He is the best dude ever! Like I said, I LOVE music. Yes, i am an aspiring singer/songwriter. Its my passion! that and playing drums. I love the outside, live music, good mental provocation . sunshine makes almost everything better. Sometimes when I was working out surveying I just wanted to head out into the woods and find my own way :) I spent 7 months working in Alaska two years ago during the summer and it literally changed my life. or my perspective. whateva. If I have the time, I love to go mountain biking, hiking, camping, anything with nature, adventury kinda stuff. I love and have very voiced opinions on politics, philosophy, religion and other schools of thought on various subjects and really enjoy hearing other peoples perspectives. Our world needs love. People are too structured and afraid to be anything but what they're told to be nowadays. I am a kind hearted, easy going dreamer who loves music, change, family, God and people in general. I work hard, live hard, and am striving to be the change I pray I need to be. sorry for the ramble, tried to pack everything in there :)

Right now I am a full-time student at Ole Miss in Oxford, ms. I also keep my boy 2 days a week and some weekends when I'm not working.( which is when i usually work.)
I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in some sort of engineering. After that I hope to get my master's in something I want, and go to law or med school. Or just get another bachelor's degree in plant medicine of some sort. Just trying to do my part, play my role, give God what's his, and live life to the fullest of his glory.

um.. it always feels a little boastful to do these, but I'm really good at playing the drums, guitar , and bass. Singing, writing, drawing, and having a good sense of humor.

Political theory books and essays: such as "Failed States" by Chomsky and classics such as "Rights of Man" and "Common Sense". I like documentaries about similar topics. i love comedies: Pick of Destiny, Animal House, Old School, Anchorman, Stir Crazy, etc.: and stuff that makes you think.
MUSIC: -- Allman Brothers, My Morning Jacket, Buffalo Killers, Black Crowes, Zeppelin, Raconteurs, Rage Against the Machine, Deftones, TooL, FreeWorld, String Cheese, Select few songs by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in CHains, Moe, North MIssissippi Allstars, Richard Johnston, HIll country revue, Robert Randolf and the family band, Derek Trucks Band, Days of the New, Funkadelics, James Brown, Little feat, So many that i can't ever remember until i see there name somewhere. anything i haven't heard that is good.
