Hi, I’m Cat! I’ve been doing the online dating thing on and off for about 6 months now and haven’t had the best of luck. I will be honest though, I am a lot to take in. I was actually told by one guy that I was “too intense”. I couldn’t argue with him because I am a very intense person, but with that intensity comes the most sincere, sweet, caring, loving, passionate individual you will ever meet…

The one aspect of present-day dating that I find most disturbing is the fact that chivalry really does appear to be nonexistent, confined to fairy tales about princesses and knights in shining armor. It’s very discouraging! I often wonder if there are any guys left out there who are genuinely concerned with the well-being and happiness of the girls they date. I hope a man will someday come along and prove my theory wrong.

With that said, I will sum up with what I am personally looking for. I want a real MAN who is always honest, even if it’s telling me something I don’t want to hear. I want someone who wants to be with me and loves to see me smile. I want someone I can really talk to about anything from the weather to the origin and purpose of life…Which brings up another point – I want to talk, not text…Lastly, and I cannot stress this enough, I want a guy with a ridiculous sense of humor who I can straight up cry laughing with on a daily basis!! Although my attempts at dating are often futile, I am not ready to give up quite yet. I also will not settle for anything less than what I desire and deserve, which is a lot!

I am working on my Masters in Teaching - Comprehensive Science (9-12). That means I can teach any high school science. I did not teach this semester but am currently applying for jobs in the fall.

I would like to say my looks...but probably my personality and sense of humor.

My favorite music is old school hip hop and r&b. My favorite shows range from Golden Girls to Archer to Frozen Planet. Although, I think my favorite right now has got to be The Big Bang Theory. I love most foods but hate Chinese ha! I am currently reading 50 Shades of Grey...Which is an amazing book for women and men!

First and foremost - my family...friends, food, wine, fun and pets.

What my next step in life is going to be.

I'm not a very private person, so just ask. I have very few regrets in my life. I believe all of the dumb things I've done in my life were learning experiences that have made me the person I am today.

It kind of makes me sick that people are on this site who are not single and/or only want casual sex...So those people need not apply. I am only interested in normal guys that want to have a normal relationship.
