You could say that my past couple of years have been a transitional period for me. I took over a new job that gives me more of a "professional" vibe. I've spent a lot of the last few months travelling across the US and a handful of days abroad. I moved to Detroit as a conscientious effort to become involved in a city that I love. I'm pretty happy with my accomplishments so far, but I don't ever think I'll ever be satisfied without trying to accomplish more.
I live in Downtown Detroit, and I love it. I'm more than happy to show anyone a miniature tour around downtown Detroit to see exactly why.
As for what I do in my spare time, it can vary. I enjoy kayaking as much as I like a good jazz show at Cliff Bell's or the latest blockbuster movie with multi-million dollar explosions. I also like to volunteer for the betterment of Detroit.
In the past few months I've become mildly obsessed with running. Running by the Detroit River tends to bring my spirits up in short order. I'm hoping to be able to run my first half marathon by October!
Craft beers are a must in my life. I won't feign expertise in different beers, but I do know that beer can taste so, so much better than a Bud Light.
